Keg at the drygate. Pours clear amber, merest white head. Big resin and pine aromas, caramel in the background. Taste us bitter, but decent malt balance. Slightly prickly carbonation makes it easy drinking for the strength. Nice.

Great pine, citrus aroma. Brilliant golden color with dense white foam. Great body and mouthfeel very sessionable at 8% just a really tasty beer.

For a double ipa this one is pretty drinkable. That could be dangerous if I was out drinking these on tap. I may end up stumbling around black out portions of the night guy. Drinking this 22 one bomber at home where I’m safe.

Poured into a tulip, medium sized white head that fades quickly and leaves good lacing on the glass. Aroma of lots of citrus, lemon being the most forward. Taste is great and not too bitter or boozy for a DIPA. A new favorite after just a few sips.

Keg at The Hanging Bat. Clear golden body with a thin off-white head. Steady carbonation. Great lacing. Aroma of peach, pine, grapefruit and freshly opened bag of hops. Flavour is peppery and very hoppy - notes of pine, boozy orange, earth, honey and lemon. Medium body with an oily texture. Lively fizz. Right out of nowhere, one of my all-time favourite beers. A truly outstanding DIPA.

This baby here has a thick powerful aroma of malts and hops, simple as that. The taste is overpowering from both malt and citrus hops, yet balanced and well refined. It’s actually quite one dimensional, but so good that it doesn’t really matter. Get it!

Bouteille:Deep golden, a bit hazy, mid-sized rocky off-white head, medical-herbal nose with a bready to caramelly background, in which a secret fruitiness is still detectable; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, nearly full bodied; lingering herbal-medical finish with slight alcohol burn and still some breadyness. Just good, not too exciting…

Clear orange looks with delicate head on top. Some lacing sticks to the glass. Aroma has lots of citrus, sweeter fruits and orange. Taste starts with citrus, then tropical fruits, slightly on the sweet side before the bitter ending. Medium body and medium-to-high carbonation. You can’t go wrong with american DIPA!

Tap at olutexpo. Clear deep golden color, white head. Nicely malty, hoppy, fruity and balanced.

Bright hazy golden and a nice dusting of filmy head and soft lacing. Zesty tangerine and treacle soaked grapefruit. Tense sweetness throughout but masked by a dangerously pithy bitterness. Grapefruit, of course, but a herby spice and silky solid carbonation. Finishes not too gritty, bitter citrus and puckering sweetness on the linger just makes the next sip even easier.

Keg, Hanging Bat
