deep amber with average head. crazy hops. awesome balance of citrus and piney, etc. there’s more than enough flavor to mask the alcohol. how can something this hoppy go down so smooth?
4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 blackmurder (216) - sadf, Hawaii, USA - APR 30, 2012
22 oz bottle. Pours a very bright golden straw color with a thin white head. Almost looks like a blonde ale, very pretty nonetheless. Aroma is of thick hops, fresh cut grass, etc. Taste is pretty potent, a very hoppy beer indeed.
3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20 Cheosky (33) - Bethesda, Maryland, USA - APR 28, 2012
Awesome aroma of grass and herbs hops, I really like that!. Looks like a pale cloudy ale. Taste is rich on its bitterness and salty body and it has a short finish.
4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20 erickok (1089) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - APR 28, 2012
Almost clear, light brown body, poured with tiny, frothy head. Passion fruit, juniper berries, very floral. Full flavoured and seriously bitter but with a good amount of balancing malts. Attack on your taste buts, but I won. Nice! (67cl bottle, pretty expensive, shared with paul_kok)

From bottle to tulip. Pours a light, crystal clear copper with a small off-white head. Aroma is a bit weak but you still get a nice hop profile and I almost get a hint of apple juice. Taste is of floral, resiny hops with a bit of malty sweetness that finishes nice and bitter
4.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 uncben87 (34) - Georgia, USA - APR 26, 2012
From bottle to tulip. Pours a light, crystal clear copper with a small off-white head. Aroma is a bit weak but you still get a nice hop profile and I almost get a hint of apple juice. Taste is of floral, resiny hops with a bit of malty sweetness that finishes nice and bitter. MF is on the thin side with medium carbonation. Overall, a very good, and IMHO, underrated DIPA.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 BeerSensi (60) - California, USA - APR 26, 2012
Poured from bottle a amber yellow color. Lots of hops with this one and a citrus aroma. Big hop taste.
1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 TheDean (786) - MIlwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - APR 24, 2012
You know a beer is bad when it smells like feet. However, most beers don’t actually taste like feet. Hop Soopid is the exception. There is nothing redeeming in the taste of this beer. The only thing I like about it is I can use the bottle for my home brew once it’s gone.
4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 peppers (6) - - APR 23, 2012 does not count
I love this IPA! Smells like a bag of weed! The hop infusion keeps the hop profile super fresh and aromatic. Laces the glass nicely. Small pillowed head. Tastes nice and strong on the palate. I treat myself this one pretty often!
