ders0 (5), , Minnesota, USA does not count Oct 22, 2009 22oz Bomber. This beer pours a burnt orange color with a bright white head that laces the glass. Lots and lots of citrus taste in the brew. The citrus fades after a while but is still quite prevalent. When you get to the middle of the brew you really taste the bitterness and that continues to the finish. alagnak (295), Littleton, Colorado, USA Oct 21, 2009 Bomber. Aroma is crisp and piney, light tropical fruit. Flavor is fruity to start (papaya and pink grapefruit) with an assualt of bitter pine and a nice grassiness in the middle. Finish is surprisingly mellowed by a nice ’wheat bread toast’ malt finish. Nice, refreshing and not a hint of the ABV. GregClow (2493), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 19, 2009 Bottle via HogTownHarry. Golden-orange with a fairly large & fluffy white head. Aroma and flavour are chock full o’ hops - pine, grapefruit, pineapple, yum! Medium bodied, very easy to drink. Love it! acblue (50), Seattle, Washington, USA Oct 19, 2009 Dark golden color, small white head. Tons and tons and tons and tons of hops. Bitter as all get out. A fun beer and successful in its execution but not something I’d care to drink often. spkldhenlvr24 (446), Newburgh/Buffalo, New York, USA Oct 17, 2009 22oz. bottle from VBM. $4.99 thank you very much!! Pours a clear copper body with a medium sized white head that diminished rather quickly. Decent lacing. Aroma is musty, pine, fruit. Flavor is sweet grapefruit with a solid amount of hops. There is some serious hoppy bitternes but its also very smooth malty calm notes. Medium bodied. Nice DIPA. beernovice39 (240), South Carolina, USA Oct 15, 2009 Clear gold with tiny white head that hanga around. Piney hop scent. Taste is crisp and refreshing with the dry pop on the back. I like it! BierBauch (638), Cape Coral Waterfront Wonderland, Florida, USA Oct 14, 2009 22 oz Bottle from Total Wine. Clear and a deep gold in color with a small head comprised of compact tiny bubbles. Very slight lacing. Aromas of mango, citrus and bubblegum. Body is medium and not as slick or full as others in the style. As it warms I’m getting some doughy notes in the aroma. Overall pretty balanced but not over the top like some Imperials I worship. tastybeer (33), Washington DC, USA Oct 12, 2009 22oz bomber from Rodman’s in DC. Pours a nice amber/golden with a modest head and lots of lacing. Extremely fresh bottle, smells of pine/grapefruit with a similar taste. Very hoppy with a citrus taste. I plan on buying more.
