| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 25, 2009 Pours a lovely bright amber-orange with great head and lacing. Aromatic. Bright fruity hops, papaya esters, tangelo, some earthiness in the background lingering. Body is surprisingly quaffable. Does have a little sweet cloying thing at the end but not in any offensive way. Hop flavors are mainly earthy with just a hint of fruit, which is just the opposite of the aromas. At first quite nice and not too intense. Grows stickier, heavier, and duller towards the end of the glass. CaryTheDude (1113), Longmont, Colorado, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 24, 2009 22 oz. bottle. 8% ABV. 102 I.B.U. O.G. 1.085 Pours a lovely thick tan head of good duration, with nice lacing, over a clear dark (SRM 15) golden body.....nose roars with resin, pine, grapefruit.....tastes of sweet malts early, then heavy resin, grapefruit flavors arrive and carry through to a surprisingly mild bitter finish, there is sweet malt in the back ground throughout....mouth feel is thick and heavy, carbonation medium. I wonder if the F.G. was about 1.020. hombrepalo (761), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Beautiful deep orange pour with a nice bit of head. Nose is resin pine with alcohol in the background. Grapefruit also comes through nicely. Flavor is dominated by those beautiful hops and there is a nice sweeness to the taste followed by a good malt presence then ending with an appropriate bitterness. Great brew.

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Apr 23, 2009 Updated: Apr 24, 2009Bomber. Pours a deeper than expected golden amber color with a small white head. Aroma is prolly the weakest part of this brew. Taste is big, complex, sweet and great. The color of this beer really adds to the deep taste of hops and a citrus sweetness and complex hoppy bite. Very enjoyable. Go WINGS ! LtJudge (432), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Apr 23, 2009 Pours a clear amber color with a small off white head. Wonderful citrus/grapefruit aromas. You can also smell some caramel malt backing, but not too much. Flavor is of pure hop juice! Great citrus/grapefruit flavorsthat end in a bitter finale! Not too much of a malt backing, just some hidden sweetness in there. Great brew!
