Lagunitas Sonoma Farmhouse Hop Stoopid

Bomber from the local shop down the road. A sparkling, golden-orange body with a lasting, filmy head and blanketing lacing. Looks sticky and vibrant. In your face grapefruit and lemon aromas backed up by fresh flowers and heavy pine. Good abundant scent to make the mouth start to water. Bitingly bitter feel with a medium, dry body. Fairly warming to the belly with a lingering bitterness. Fresh oranges and lemony grapefruit followed by resinous pine and a noticeable biscuit/bread malt backbone. Not as over the top as I was anticipating considering the 102IBU claim on the bottle, either way it was more than satisfying.

very nice and fresh aroma--prominently pine and somewhat spicy; lightly cloudy, golden body with white soapy head and fair lacing; excellent flavor--notes of grapefruit, orange zest, and dough; smooth; great drinking overall.

the last sonoma farmhouse i had from Lagunitas was incredible (saison) and with what i have heard from a couple of people, I am looking forward to this ... pours out a dark kettle brown, with medium head issues, lacing is good too ... very flavourful hop bite, solid and rewarding, very clean, 5 iron huh? well you’re fired ... is super tasty! .. a very well made brew that is sure to please any hophead.... 102IBU4u!

Pours deep gold into a shaker. Off-white head recedes to skim rim. Resin and pine aromas. Deep dark caramel upfront with a lasting grapefruit finish.

I was surprised by the sweetness and overall fruity nature of this one. Almost barley wine in flavor. Very good overall.

Clean light gold, brilliantly so, with an oily white head that left a uniform thin lacing down the glass. Clean concentrated hop aroma, crisp with orange peel. Light bodied, clean consistent focused west coast hop character. Not a lot of depth but plenty of flavor. Sessionable beer for hopheads were it not 8.2%.

a beer with a full amount of flavor. both the taste and aroma has a combo of grapefruit and pineapple flavors. really hoppy with taste of pure pine needles. fantastic flavor all the way.
