Poured into a pint glass out of a 22oz bomber. Appearance is honestly not very impressive. Crystal clear medium copper with basically no head at all. Only a tiny ring around the edge of the glass lets you know it is carbonated. Aroma is out of this world. Tons and tons of hops. Lots of passionfruit/tropical citrus character with a little bit of mild grain underneath. Flavor is, not surprisingly, nearly all hops. Huge tropical fruit character really carries this beer. A little bready malt underneath but it is very faint. Hops are king. Bitterness is not as high as I was expecting but is pleasantly assertive. The finish is slightly sticky but crisp. Overall, not my favorite IIPA but in the top 5. For the price it really can’t be beat. I would have liked to see a little more malt balance and complexity but I have a feeling this will become a regular in my fridge.

Really nice imperial ipa. It’s a great imperial for those that don’t like bitter IPA’s. It has enough malt to really balance out the hops. Very nice change of pace ipa.

22oz bottle from Wegmans in Geneva, NY for $6.99. A solid beer. The bitterness is on point. A little too sweet for my taste but I like them with little to no sweetness cause I love my bitterness and hop flavor. Great hop flavor in this brew. They did a great job with that. Poured a nice very slightly dark amber with a beautiful head that after a few minutes started to look like a mountain range. Decent lacing throughout. Overall this was a great imperial and I would get again.

Tropical grapefruit notes on the nose. Grapefruit remains strong on the tongue balanced by hints of 'herbal'.

OMG, I love this beer! It is my favorite IPA. Very well balanced hops bitterness with a strong malt body. And the hop nose! Best when fresh. You can really discern a difference.

Appearance: pours with a large beige head, the beer is a very clear slightly darker golden color Aroma: bread, grass, pine, dank, smells good under the thick head, spicy Taste: citrus, bitter throughout, caramel malt is there but subtle, spicy warmth Palate: medium mouthfeel, average carbonation, bitter aftertaste Overall: I really like this, smells amazing and tastes delicious, I was expecting a bit more bitterness from the ibu rating but I'm not dissatisfied Overall, hides the abv well ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
