Pours orange with a medium, frothy white head. Big hop aroma, just attacks you right off of the bat, with a definite little spiciness to it as well. The taste was as i expected as well, big and hoppy. Very sharp taste, and I definitely got a little spice in there too mixed in with the monster hops. Slightly bitter in the finish with some grapefruit citrus making its way through the hops. Very good beer.

Pour is a orange with a large white head. Aroma is a nice effervecent hop with some cirtrusy goodness. Flavor is an abundance of fresh hops with a little sweetness at then end. This is very good and easy to drink. Gets extra points for being affordable like all of this brewers beers.

About a 1 inch thick head of fine and dense bubbles. Light carbonation. FANTASTIC aroma loaded with mandarin oranges, pineapple and all things citrus. Absolutely amazing! I just want to start drinking this brew. Color is a nice clear dark orange. A little bit frothy in the mouth. Slightly sweet malts, lots of hops bitterness, more citrus fruit and some bready malts. With claiming over 100 IBU’s I expected this brew to be bitter beyond belief and more similar to a Stone Ruination ale. This is very drinkable and goes down super easy! It is not leaving a dry pasty feeling in the mouth like some other IIPA’s. Light alcohol presence. Finishes a bit on the malty side with some lingering bitterness and dryness. A very, VERY good IIPA, that is super easy to drink and very affodable for the quality.

Pours deep gold into a shaker. Off-white head recedes to skim rim. Resin and pine aromas. Deep dark caramel upfront with a lasting grapefruit finish.

Tastes like a lot of other DIPAs, well, except better. Immense tropical mango funky pineapple up front; it just smacks you! Hints of acetone in the aroma. Crazyaroma. Flavor is very bitter, obviously; grapefruit, citrus rind, sourdough bread, a little earthy and fruity in the flavor. Quite drinkable! Add.2 on rerate. Great beer, especially the aroma.

I needed something after Illinois’ shit ass game against Wisconsin. Bottle from Shawan Liquors. Pours a translucent amber with a retentive white head. Nice citrusy and floral hop aroma. Medium bodied with a good mouthfeel. Flavor of toffee malts countered by a nice, but not overly aggressive grapefruit bitterness. Semi-dry grassy hoppy finish. Well balanced and easy to drink. If you are looking for a puckering hop bomb, this is not it. Its any easy drinking, simple IIPA. Reasonably priced to boot. Good job Lagunitas

On tap at Tyler’s, in the fine company of durhambeer. What a nose! Deep and almost glowing orange pour, decent carbonation, moderate head. Very tasty, and somewhat more grassy/bitter than you’d expect, given the intensely sweet and floral quality of the aroma. Palate was a bit too thin for me, but overall a very fine, sticky DIPA.

a beer with a full amount of flavor. both the taste and aroma has a combo of grapefruit and pineapple flavors. really hoppy with taste of pure pine needles. fantastic flavor all the way.
