First impression….well you open the bottle and put your nose in it (as far as it get). My goodness what a lovely fruity aroma. Mostly mandarin coming up. Then what. Ahh pour it into the glass. Still a lovely fruity aroma. Lots of hoppy touch as well. Unusual clear golden pour with a fine white head that to soon ends up in a white layer. Powerful body with a decent sweetness. I would have preferred a bit less sweetness to be honest. Nice bitterness and good carbonation. Very rich tropical fruity and maybe to hoppy if that is possible. Powerful double IPA, but a little bit to dominant overripe fruity for me. Made it a bit unbalanced. Otherwise not much to complain about. Unusual clear body. And loses it head to fast.

Deep gold in color. Medium-high body, carbonation and mouthfeel. The aroma has bright citrus hops with notes of grapefruit and lemon with spicy resinous pine tossed about. Starts with citrusy grapefruit and lemon hop flavor notes sweetened buy a very subtle and sweet honey-like maltiness. Fairly warming brew. Fades into resinous dry hop. The hop flavor notes turn to freshly cut spruce pine, resin and herbal bitterness which hangs onto the tongue and lingers quite a while. Booyah.

Poured into my Delirium Tulip and watched as a bright fluorescent amber gold beer filled the glass. A vigorous pour produced only about one finger’s worth of foamy head. not well carbonated. Good lacing. wonderfully aromatic. Fresh hops with a citrus and herbal bouquet. Taste is very hoppy, but not overpowering, over a sweet caramel malt bill. Hops have a pine resin taste to it with only subtle hints of citrus and herbal qualities.. Mouthfeel is a good medium. Quite a good beer but it seems more in line of an IPA then a DIPA or ADIPA. Well hidden and warming alcohol presence, but lower then most beers of it’s style. I think it could have more carbonation for presentation. I could see myself over the charcoal grill in the summer with this baby.

22 oz bottle. It pours a slightly hazy light golden color with a medium sized, long lasting white head. It has a citrus aroma, a dank aroma and a pine aroma. It is super bitter with some sweetness. It tastes dank, resiny and slightly floral. This is a reasonably good beer. I’m glad I bought it and may buy it again.

All around enjoyable brew, nice golden hew color, yellowish frothy head that dissipated rather quickly leaving a light lace at the rim of the pour. The nose is fabulous hoppy. bready and caramel aroma’s . Very pleasant and easy to drink.

Look: pours a cold hazy gold. Bright white head that doesn't stay around long. But leaves thick lacing on the glass. Smell: decimate dank smell up front. Fruit gum. Slight pine. Taste: very hop forward beer. Very light fruit gum (juicy fruit) flavor. Definite dank flavor. Pine and a pepper flavor as it warms up. Flower smell as it warms. Feel: Leaves a film on your mouth. Makes you want another drink after you finish one. Very dry. Medium carbonation. Overall: not a bad beer. Extremely bitter. Slight sweetness in the after taste.

Draft pour at special brews lagunitas night. Pours copper with a lasting head. Probably the piniest aroma of any beer I’ve tried. A lot of citrus flavor going on here. Super hoppy as expected. Semi sweet finish. Doesn’t stand out as a top IPA for me necessarily, but solid overall. Good stuff.

The body has a nice deep golden color with good clarity and plenty of active carbonation. The aroma has bright citrus hops with notes of grapefruit and lemon over some nice spruce like piney notes. I am also picking up some sweet grain and alcohol. Its medium to full body body starts with citrusy grapefruit and lemon hop flavor notes sweetened buy an almost candy like malt and alcohol. This sweetness slowly fades and the bitterness from the hops builds. The hop flavor notes turn to freshly cut spruce pine, resin and herbal bitterness which hangs onto the tongue and lingers long into the finish.
