Pours a beautiful golden amber with a thick off-white head that stocks around, enough to leave bubbles on the lips. A great hoppy floral aroma accompanies the aesthetically pleasing ale. Alas, what it possesses in superficial characteristics, it lacks in flavor. Taste is almost bland; where did the hops go? Old bottle perhaps? Smooth mouthfeel. This dog presents plenty of bark, but no bite. I can appreciate it for what it is; cheap and above average

22 oz bottle from Fred Meyer in Hillsboro, OR. Aroma is grassy and piney, with hints of barnyard and resin. Mouthfeel is sweet and smooth in the beginning, and finishes crisp, with a long bitter and slightly astringent aftertaste. Great balance between hop profile and malt backbone.

(bottle, 66cl, courtesy of jfb – thanks!) Slightly hazy, golden to light-amber colour with a medium-sized off-white foamy head. Malty aroma with notes of caramel and a present hops character, including herbal, almost a bit ethereally notes and a citrus-fruity touch. Bitter-sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a mild carbonation. Slightly bready malt-accented taste with notes of caramel, cookies and a whiff of cough syrup, accompanied by spicy herbal, slightly minty touch, also a rather restrained fruity touch; moderately dry bitter-sweet and quite rounded finish. 27.VIII.14

Bottle: Clear gold, fizzy, with a frothy, off-white head. Resin, grapefruit peel, pine aroma. Taste is malty, sweet fruit... Resiny but not overpowering, nicely balanced alongside the tangerine/semi-tropical flavours... Excellent.

Bottle. Pours golden with a thick, creamy head. Excellent head retention. Aromas of sweet malt, floral hops and bitter citrus. A burst of floral hops in the first sip; sweet malt, bitter citrus, fresh hop bite. Much like an IPA, but not as heavy. Crisp and light. Light to Medium mouthfeel; slightly oily. Overall, a crisp, delicious ale with an abundance of gorgeous, fresh hops.

Keg at Aces & Ales, Las Vegas. Clear burnished gold, head that recedes to thin layer. Big green dank aroma, oranges, unripe mango. Moderate sweet then big bitter, dank green hops. Fairly light body. Very nice.

Clear radiant orange with big frothy lasting white head. Great big balanced bitter sweet full body. Outpaces a lot of the forgettable new wave IPA’s. Loaded! Just stoopid! Boom... In 20 Years people will look at this like people look at Rochefort.

I can drink this all day long. I paid $4 for a 22 oz. Very affordable It is very hoppy and has above average drinkability. I feel like I can mow the lawn and drink several of these. Top class! Cheers. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft to pint at Dutch’s. Looks good; a fairly transparent pale burnt orange with foamy off-white head. Smells of pine and citrus hops with a medium-bodied bittersweet backbone. Tastes like it smells with a solid mouthfeel. Good beer.

Aroma is strong citrus, led by grapefruit. Lots of hop bitterness, as indicated by the bottle. Strong bready malts. Appearance is a clear golden clear with a white foam head and good lacing. Taste leads with strong grapefruit, pine hops, and some strong bitterness. Medium bodied, a little bit sticky and a perfect amount of carbonation. A very well made DIPA.
