Tap @ Front Door: Pellucid tawny with a sticky head and huge sheets of lacing. The nose is spicy and hoppy with earthy and piny/grapefruit notes (amarillo, centennial, columbus). The mouthfeel is mellow like cask. Balanced tail and mostly dry hopped. Snappy and fresh SDPA.

Poured a clear amber color with a medium sized off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of pine, herb, orange rind, floral hops, and light caramel malts. Taste was bitter, with slightly tart citrus, bitter orange peel, light nuts, toffee malts, and a dry, grapefruit finish. Nicely attenuated with low alcohol.

Bright amber/orange appearance with a small, off white head and a fair amount of lacing. Citrus hop aroma that blossoms after setting a bit, with resinous notes chiming in as well. Modestly sweet maltiness sets the stage for the star of the show - fruity, citrusy, piney hops. Not tastebud numbing, but delicious. Full bodied, well carbonated mouthfeel, with a lingering, lasting, dry finish. A great value.

Bottle: The aroma is loaded with hops...lots of orange, apricot, and grapefruit. It pours a transparent golden-orange with a small white head. The flavor starts with lots of orange and apricot. Light-moderate sweetness in the middle followed by a well balanced grapefruit finish. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Very drinkable.

Label is very similiar, but lacks the words "Sonoma Farmhouse by Lagunitas" and the circle...colors and pic are identical though.....hmm. Well, this appears to be the same brew. 22 oz. bomber. Clear, honey colored pour with a thin white head. Lacing was good. Piney, resiny aroma. Hops throughout, which I’ve come to expect from a IIPA. Crisp on the palate. A good example of the style.

On tap at Brick Store Pub
Pour light slightly hazy orange with a sticky white head
All hops here baby. Resinous citrus orange and some nice peachy apricot
Citrusy hops form the tip to the back of the tonge. A long pleasant finish. The bitterness with agressive, but no where near harsh.
Medium, easy to drink body. Soft carbonation.
Jeez...This beer is really something to get ahold of as often as you can.

Draft at Falling Rock during GABF. Orange color, lightly carbonated with a thin head. Pine is the predominate hop aroma though there is a hint of fruit. It has a definite “stickiness” to the aroma. Nice hop punch to this one. Big pine and a tangerine citrus peal backbone. Decent grain holds it together but this is primarily a big hop bomb. Good stuff. Full semi-dry body. Very enjoyable.

Bottle (in NZ). So much fruit - but citrus and tropical. Not as bitter or dry as you would expect, in fact I got some creaminess in the palate - which I loved.
