Even more hops on the nose, grapefruit and pine, its pretty intense. It pours dark blonde, slightly amber with a thick white head. Intense grapefruit flavor, like grapefruit juice with a shot of straight pine sap! If you don’t like hops, this is not for you. The hops coat the inside of your mouth and it lingers. i love it.................whoa, this is hoppy. Huge citrus hops on the nose, grapefruit and pine. Pours golden blonde with a thick white head. Definite hop flavor, huge american hops, citrus flavor, grapefruits, pine resin, notes of sweet malts. Excellent hoppy beer. BeerBelcher (945), Columbus, Ohio, USA

Tons of hops wielded by somebody in a brewhouse who knows how to use them. The flavor is all hoppiness, but packaged in a very pleasant package. And since hops come in all shapes and sizes, I’ll describe the intense hoppiness in this particular example as "sweaty gym sock" and "candied fruit" which is to say delicious on both counts. I must say I hate candied fruit, probably wouldn’t otherwise describe sweaty socks as appetizing, but in a hoppy beer, these descriptors are high praise (I hate raisins too...but in beer...terrific!).
Color is orange, body is clear and brilliant. Head is minimal. Body is somewhat viscous for a non-stout beer. Flavor is very hoppy (of the variety I described above) and delicious. There is some backbone behind the hop...as while this beer comes across as hoppy and bitter, it doesn’t seem one-dimensional by any means. Mouthfeel isn’t tarry, but is definitely not thin either (which is to say, on-target). Really, really good.
This beer reminds me quite a bit of Moylan’s Hopsickle, which I also really like. I would highly recommend.

Great lace. Awesome hop aromas. Big hop. Nice pine and a chunk of citrus. Lots of caramel. Mostly those good ole American Hops. Flavor a bold, rich caramel malt body. Sticky mouthfeel, just the way an DIPA should be. Very resiny. Very bitter, high IBUs. Bitter glands on the palate are in overdrive right now. Very smooth, creamy, and well balanced. Heavenly. I THINK I AM NOW STOOPID. I should pick up some more bottles and make a nice spicy goulash with it. So good and soo inexpensive! arrogantb (734), Denver, Colorado, USA

It was a nice golden color with an excellent aroma of peaches, hops, citrus, really good smells. The taste was thick, hoppy and more citrus. It’s too bad they don’t send bottles of this out to Colorado as this is easily the best Lagunitas IPA I have ever tasted.

really superb IPA, so hoppy and I wish I had bought more!

Amazing. I like this better. More malt balance, but not too much--still heavily hop dominated. Syrupy warm alcohol palate. Fantastic IPA.

Aroma of pine and tropical fruit with a bit of sweet biscuit. Very balanced taste, but not in a ’huge caramel backbone’ way. More like pale malt/biscuity, fruity sweetness with pineapple, grapefruit hops. The alcohol is well covered, as is much of the bitterness. Dry finish. Stunningly good.
