Hop Stoopid is a mostly clear pour with a small head of small bubbles. THe color is apple juice amber. the Nose of Hop stoopid is just a touch of honey with floral hops. Taste is mild on the front, but explodes into a nice flavorful hit of hops resolving into good bitters on the finish. Body is lively with bubbles rising almost constantly. A very nice DIPA. Found it locally at my meijer in columbus oh for $6. quite a bargain.

Pours a clear, classic golden color with a one-finger, off-white head. Earthy, piny, and citrus hop nose. Full, wet mouthfeel with some hop heat and a fade of carbonation burn. Feels nice. There’s a peculiar, toasty and fresh pumpkiny flavor that underlies the pine and citrus hops.

Terrific smelling. Pine and grapefruit. It’s thin, a bit too thin for me, but definitely in line with the style. The hop punch isn’t as strong on the tongue as it is on the nose.

dark golden pour with nice white head. Aroma is slight pine hop, mostly grapefruit apricot hop aroma. Wonderful grapefruit-ey hoppy bitterness all the way through, just enough alcohol and malt to balance the experience. Long bitter juicy finish. Great DIPA.

On tap. Pours a dark yellow with a white head and lots of lacing. Aroma is citrus. Taste is a delicious malty body with lots of citrus and fruity hops. Nice bitterness, but not overpowering. A big beer. Lovely.

This beer is delicious. Although I believe it could use even more hops. Still a very tasty and enjoyable brew!

Bottle - Pours a nice gold color with a citrusy piney aroma. Big thick white head that sticks around. Flavor is faint but has a hint of citrus and maybe a little pine. Little bitter aftertaste but also faint. Overall not a bad beer but not a whole lot going on in this bottle, but what there is, is good. Easy to drink.

Pours clean and golden into snifter. Aroma of sweet pine and citrus. Flavor is is very dry and piney. It is not balanced so much with the sweetness but I tend to like it that way. High quality ale at a more than reasonable price. Lagunitas always delivers the goods.

Pours a clear orange/honey mixture with a fantastic head and superb lacing. Aroma is straight up hops. Pine needles, grass, grapefruit, lemon, orange zest, tons of onion/garlic character, super dank! Taste follows the aroma nicely, except there’s a bready malt presence in the taste that is absent in the aroma. Super dry finish, sticky mouthfeel. Why am I not surprised that Lagunitas makes a Imperial IPA that rivals the best of the best? What a great beer.
