Typical dark yellow of a big IPA; nice, long-lasting frothy head. Big hops aroma of course. This is lemony and peachy, a bit more towards the "lighter" spectrum of hop aromas than the musky piney and grapefruity things I crave. Acidic, corrosively hoppy flavor, initially a bit more raw and abrasive than I care for, but then becoming a bit more piney and orangey like I like. Finishes relatively juicy and actually quite thick. Bitterness is not overwhelming to me. Nicely crafted.

This was an awesomely pleasant find on tap at Kuma’s. Deep amber colored, amazing hop nose of flowers and fruit, some nice tropical fruit. Beautiful nose. Taste is interesting in that it has a taste of wonderful tropical taste as well, very smooth and eloquent bitterness. So tightly put together, it’s hard to figure out how they did it. Awesome.

Clear goldem with amber tone. Some white head. Strong exotic fruit hop aroma, some sweetness. Big full flavor, Bitter, not too much. Fruity, pleasant light light alcoholic tingle. Great fruity hoppiness. Creamy, playful palate. Very drinkable but complex.

Bottle. Almost clear and golden in colour with a white head. Quite hoppy with notes of raisin, rye, malty sweetness, high bitterness, caramel, grapefruits, citrus and pines.

This one pours a nice orangy amber with a decent yellowish-tan head. Aroma is quite strong and so hoppy that it smells a lot like a pine tree. Flavor is seriously hoppy, with some hints of fruit but not too much bitterness. Texture is not smooth, but it is still pleasant to drink, especially if you are a hops fanatic.

PIB 2008. Pours amber with a tall white head. Very floral citrus hops in the nose, oranges and soft grapefruit. This was well built, more focused on the aromatic hops and not so sharp on the bittering. Very floral on the palate, juicy citrus tastes abound. This was really an IPA I could drink by the pint, no harshness to it at all.
