Pours deep amber orange w/a small off wite head that disipates quickly. To the nose it has nice sweet floral hops, pine and some citrus. First taste is sweet hops, some honey undernotes and a hop bite that then lingers on the palate. Iím giving this one a 5! It is all that you can ask for from and imperial IPA. I love it, job well done. Cheers!

Pours a beautiful clear golden with some sudsy white head. Nose is vibrant peaches, grapefruit, pine, toffee. Flavor is loads of peach, nectarine, toffee, burnt sugar, pine, grapefruit. Slight alcohol note on the finish, but otherwise quite refreshing and hoppy for a DIPA. Pretty excellent.

Bottle. Pours clear copper with a white creamy lasting head that leaves great lacing. Huge and fresh aroma of citrus, pine, resin and hay. Lightly sweet, medium bitter, light body, creamy texture, well balanced, average carbonation, flavors of grapefruit and citrus and a brief lightly bitter finish.

Super dank catpiss kind bud aroma and flavor. It does have a very filtered somewhat watered down mouth feel and backbone. No mistake, the taste and aroma are there. That is this beer. Thank you.

Lots of floral hops, nutty caramel and citrus peel. A bit herbal and grassy. Didnít quite have the bite or complexity I was expecting but good enough for the style.

Bottled February 29, 2014.
Appearance: The body is a perfectly clear golden amber hued with a tall and dense light tan head rising on the pour and staying for quite a bit. When it finally settles thereís an opaque coating with a few big bubbles on the edges.
Aroma: The aroma is fruity, hinting at pineapple and mango with a floral presence and a grapefruit bitterness. The malts are shy, perhaps a hint of nuttiness and caramel, but mostly hops in the aroma.
Taste: This is a clean imperial IPA, balanced bitterness with a bitter orange/pink grapefruit overlying flavor. The malt base is generic malt sweetness, hints of nuttiness mostly towards the back. The finish lingers with a splash of malty sweetness and grapefruit.
Palate: Crisp bodied with moderate to high carbonation.
Overall: This is a solid imperial IPA and a great value in the land of bombers. I enjoy this for the balance and drinkability it has, even if nothing really jumps out.

Lovely nose featuring piney hops, grass and malt. A nice sold mid-range viscosity with the hops blending citrus, pine, grassy and earthy elements. Malt and softer fruit tastes including apricot mellow out the bitterness, leaving a well balanced after taste. Really good!

Reviewed from notes. Iím not sure why its called "Sonoma Farmhouse" on ratebeer, but it doesnít say that anywhere on any bottle Iíve ever had. Anyways, here goes: The appearance was a golden orange slightly transparent body with a one finger white foamy head. Carbonation is seen rising. The smell had some sweet and spicy through citrus, hops, and malts. The taste was mainly sweet, slight bittering flavors come through citrus, slight pine/resinous thing goiní on. On the palate, it sat about a medium, smooth, fairly sessionable, bittersweet aftertaste and finish. Overall, this is a good one for the style, glad I tried it, and almost always come back to whenever I can.
