Hot damn this is good stuff! Gifted bomber from craftbeerconnect. I just sampled Ale Smith’s IPA, and I can say this is superior! The floral aroma; the smooth citrus and honeydew; the superior smoothness! This thing is making me "stoopid!"

Smells like hop pellets--fruity, spicy, et cetera. Citrus fruit, spicy hop flavor; with some bready, caramel sweet malt in the background.

Aroma: Pine resin, citrus and a certain cattiness. Appearance: Dark gold with a moderate white head. Flavor: Raw almonds, orange, earth and pine resin with a hefty malt backdrop. Palate: Full bodied, medium carbonation and a long bittersweet finish. Overall: Interesting and complex, but some flavors and aromas which I do not find particularly pleasant.

On tap at the brewery. Pour is clear amber with a big white head and great lacing. Fruity, citrusy, grassy, caramelly, orange peel, a touch earthy, bready, and floral aroma. Taste is orange peel, grapefruit, sticky caramel, bread, grass, and light weed with a big bitter finish - though not overpowering. Sticky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Tasty stuff.

650 ml bottle. Pours an clear amber/gold with light head. Aromas of tropical fruit and grapefruit. Flavors of pine, grapefruit, oranges, and candy. A bit of malt in the middle but definite fruity hop forward and bitter finish.

22oz bomber. Pours a very clear copper color with a two fingers of white head. Aroma of big tropical and citrus fruits, some peach, resiny hops, and pine. Very hop forward. Taste is pine, citrus, grapefruit, resin, and caramel malt. What a delicious beer at a great price!

Bottled. Dark golden with a tall, fluffy white head. Aroma is moderately strong pine resin with a little light black pepper and sweet graham cracker at the end. Flavor is moderately bitter, notes of leather and orange zest with a sweet peach send off. Slightly sticky mouthfeel with a dry finish. Really tasty and refreshing, and not an overwhelming hop bomb.

Poured from bomber. Clear orangish gold with 1 finger off white head. Aroma is serious hops - pine, guava, some grapefruit. Hops dominate the taste profile, mostly bitter fruit. Definitely some breadiness to the taste, but really not much sign of malt sweetness. Getting a lot of resin as well. Aftertaste is a bit astringent. The mouthfeel is moderate with some active carbonation on the glass. Overall, a good beer - I thought it could use some more balance, but pretty sure that’s what they were going for with this one.

Pours clear orange with a 2-finger pillowy white head that lasts. Aroma is floral hop bomb. Taste is hops with a slight malt backbone. Lasting bitter finish. This is one of the best DIPA’s you can find for under $5 a bomber.

Great hop taste and really looks nice in that golden brown color. Wonderful flavor. Nice 8% ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours medium golden, perfectly clear, a finger creamy off white head. Big hops up front on the nose, floral, citrus, pine, bready and toffee round out the aroma. Not overly bitter hops right away, not stringent at all though, grapefruit, floral, pine, bit toffee sweetness mid mouth, bready malt and bitter hops on the finish. Medium body, nice low carbonation, but spicy and ever so slight alcohol warmth. Overall good, not overly bitter, hops do dominate the aroma and flavor profile though. Nice hoppy beer, nice malt bill in the background.
