3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: FEB 8, 2014 First time around, I loved this thing! Maybe my tastes have changed a bit over the year, but it doesn’t hold my attention like previously. It still have that intense bitter element, matched with a medium sweetness. Still a great IPA, but no longer a standout beer for me. Re-rate your beers! Serving size: 22oz bottle rated 2.8.13 / 2.8.14

Very hoppy smell, but fairly subtle hoppy taste. Has a light taste even though it is called Hop Stoopid

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pour from bomber, rich clear gold with admirable head. Nose of pine, simcoe, super ripe fruit, juice and pith, sweet flowers, sticky hop resin. The whole nine yards of an essential IIPA. Flavor is impeccably paired pine and thick viscous ripe juice, skillfully met with a taming malt that makes it all go down with almost too much ease. A must-try at a great value.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Tap. Black Swan, Leeds. Hazy, dark gold. Bubbly, thick, lasting, pale cream coloured head. Beautifully fresh, rich, sweet, tropical fruit. Loads of peach and passion fruit. Behind that there’s a lovely, dank, leafy resin character. Big, sweet biscuit, grainy malts too. Smells fantastic. Taste is rich sweet, turning fruity, zesty, piny bitter. Smooth, full palate. Soft carbonation. Finishes long, resinous bitter, with a lip sticking sweet close. Lovely.

Very light aroma. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Rich malty sweetness followed by a mild hop bitterness. Excellent.

Pretty decent one, but not a 100. Beautiful color and foam, pours perfectly. A bit on the sweet side

Its a good beer. My buddy Lemon left it for me in 22 oz bottle. Drank the bottle and it was nice but IPA not my gig.

Really nice imperial ipa. It’s a great imperial for those that don’t like bitter IPA’s. It has enough malt to really balance out the hops. Very nice change of pace ipa.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
22oz bottle from Wegmans in Geneva, NY for $6.99. A solid beer. The bitterness is on point. A little too sweet for my taste but I like them with little to no sweetness cause I love my bitterness and hop flavor. Great hop flavor in this brew. They did a great job with that. Poured a nice very slightly dark amber with a beautiful head that after a few minutes started to look like a mountain range. Decent lacing throughout. Overall this was a great imperial and I would get again.

Tropical grapefruit notes on the nose. Grapefruit remains strong on the tongue balanced by hints of 'herbal'.

Clear, copper coloured with a small white head. Fresh aroma, nice smooth taste. Slightly bitter, well-bodied overall. Very nice.
