Clear golden pour with a lot of visible carbonation and a thin white head that lasts. Citrus aroma with some bready grains and mustiness Nice spicy saison flavor. There is some citrus, muted apple, pepper, clove, some banana yeasty esters. Finishes dry, not much lingering flavor. Nicely carbonationed. Pretty good.

Poured a cloudy gold with a fluffy white head. Aroma of spice, banana, hops, yeast. Flavor is also of banana, yeast, hops, malt sweetness, and some light pepper. Finishes dry with some light bitterness. Mouth is medium bodied with some mild carbonation.

Poured a cloudy yellow color with a big frothy white head. Aroma of citrus and some yeast. Flavor is flat and not much of the citrus comes through. Need a little more complexity in my drinks.

On tap at Taco Mac in the Highlands. Poured to a light orange yellow with medium white head that lingered well and left okay lacing. Nose was a very mild, yet pleasant banana, spices and hint of orange. Mouthfeel was full and a little chewy, but led nicely into the malty fruit taste, which improved more as the beer warmed slightly. Rounded off to a nice finish. Had two and could have had more.

A medium gold, foamy off white head. Somewhat sweet, has a bit of that Belgian Blonde "bubblegum" scent to it along with dry hay and a hint of barnyard funk. Much sweeter than anticipated, light spice low alcohol. You could call this a "Session Saison".

This is really a pretty tasty little saison. Of course it’s poured crystal clear, just like all Lagunitas beers, but it’s full of gingerbread and pepper. Banana and lemons flesh this out a little. I’m not getting the smoke references of an early rating. Perhaps that guy got served the wrong beer? I wouldn’t put this at the top of my saison list, but I’d drink this baby again.

Did not like - would never buy.* Aroma: Smoked sausage. Other than that, it’s got bland, lil’ sweet hints that pop out, but nothing of concequence. App: Dehydrated drunkard piss. Flavor: Banana, butter, smoked sausage franks. It’s just plain gross. Palate: Medium body, and too carbonated. OA: Smoked saison. Rauchbier?? Really? No!
