| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 26, 2008 Golden colored ale with a decent white head.A touch of funk in this otherwise sweet aroma. I got a bit of banana and apricot in this otherwise spicy and yeasty beer. Not a ton going on but it’s drinkable. JohnnyJ (1356), Carlsbad, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 1, 2008 Not a very interesting saison. Pours a straw gold with thin white head. Sweet malt, biscuits, some honey, and notes of lemon zest and earthiness. Also a little bit buttery. Rather bland, but still drinkable. jrob21 (1284), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | May 31, 2008 Poured a cloudy yellow color with a big frothy white head. Aroma of citrus and some yeast. Flavor is flat and not much of the citrus comes through. Need a little more complexity in my drinks. aspidites (1274), manteca, California, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 21, 2008 Not a Belgian. A little sweet, a little spiciness, but no complexity or intensity. Not a great example of the style, and certainly not playing to Lagunitas’s hoppy strengths. durhambeer (1245), Durham, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 26, 2008 On tap at Tyler’s. Slightly hazy orange with minimal white head. Average American take on a saison. Not enough yeast for me. Simple expected spices. Odd mid-palate but finishes with a pleasant bitter hoppiness. Thoroughly average at best. luckygirl (1221), Boulder, Colorado, USA
