By the way this bottle label looked i would have never guessed this was distributed by Lagunitas. The appearance was a solid gold with a firm short lived head. A normal nose that was decked with a strain of Belgian yeast and average spicing. The flavor was average without any real stand out uniqueness other than the light spice and metallic finish. Nothing special and I doubt I’d purchase this again. barleyPops (1081), Quad-Cities, Illinois, USA

Aroma is orange, basement, yeast funk, grass. Medium to light body, watery texture. Fairly standard example, nothing really interesting here. trokini (1027), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 23, 2007 I’m not a big fan of Saisons, but I do enjoy Trippels. This tasted a lot like a Trippel, so that’s probably why I enjoyed this beer. Hazy gold with a dense white head. Banana, yeast, straw, and apples in the nose. Smooth, sweet bubblegum and banana in the flavor with honey, wheat, spice, and yeast. Slightly musty, but in a good way. ChazMania (415), Pasadena, California, USA

In 103 degree weather without having a beer for awhile, this tastes rather refreshing! Pours little head, very clear. Tastes has some yeast, some bananna and almost a lemon twang. I don’t know this style very well so I’m not sure how it compares. I would buy it and drink it again no problem. JCB (1799), Durham, North Carolina, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 27, 2008 Draft at Tyler’s, Durham. Enjoyed with my pal durhambeer. Funny, I thought this was basically a very dry, lightly yeasty American pale. It’s got enough spice, I suppose, to merit the designation but certainly not very much character. Too thin in the body, and a kind of indistinct sweetness in there too. Okay. rmussman (906), California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 23, 2007 Poured dark yellow color like a good saison. Aroma is malty and not much hops. Flavor is good for a saison, though its a litle skunky, which is part of the saison. Definitly a heavy grain beer and overal has a good feel. Well crafted. hellbilly (1577), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA
