Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Yeasty and fruity, with lighter spicy notes, banana, and light flowery hoppy notes. Underwhelming.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma is very hefeweizen like, with banana and clove upfront, and a bit of barnyard. Flavour reveals notes of clove, wheat, dry barnyard, and a bit of sheep wool. There’s a slight acidity, with a dry bitter finish. Better than the ratings would lead me to believe.

On draft at the brewpub. It pours yellow gold with a white head. The aroma has pineapple, grapefruit, mildly spicy yeast and that signature lagunitas juicy fruit character. The flavor is pretty much the same. A bit heavy and definitely not dry or yeasty enough. Not horrible, but they should probably stick to IPA’s.

On draft at Lagunitas. Clearish yellow with a white head. Aroma is yeasty, pils malt, spice and citrus. Flavor is spicy yeast, malty and some tart lemon. Light body with a dry, almost chalky feel. Decent refreshing beer but not one of Lagunitas best.
