4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pours a clear classic golden color with a short white head. Not much head formed due to how carefully the beer was poured by the bartender. The bouquet might be the best of any beer I’ve ever had. Fresh grapefruit right up front with some underlying cannabis. Just a wonderful aroma. Mouthfeel is full, wet, and a bit oily. Carbonation bites just a bit on the finish. The flavor is magnificent. Grapefruit! A lot more pine in the flavor than appeared in the bouquet. Just enough rye in this beer to set all the flavors and aromas off in a more vibrant fashion. A remarkably well-engineered brew.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottled, that doesn’t suck. What does suck, is the fact that this is distributed to Alaska, but not North Dakota. It sucks that I really really enjoyed this, but will likely not run across it again for quite some time. I love hoppy brews, maybe I’m a Lagunitas fan boy too cause I dig most of their beers; this is no exception. Beautiful pour, big hoppy nose and taste, this is so solid. Bonus points for being so potent and flavorful, while being extremely refreshing. Has that same effect on me that SNPA did 10 years ago, sort like a little voice in your head shouting "I should be drinking stuff like this all the time!" Thanks Jeremy for sending a bottle.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle @ Bruce’s. Cheers, Bruce! The pour’s deep orange with a medium head. The nose is strong spiced orange peel, some marmalade, red berry compote, a bit of dirty spruce, pacific hops and honeyed bread. The taste is bright pine and spruce. Nice resinous hop profile. Orange peel and berry fruits. Moderately chewy malts. Medium bitterness on the finish. Full body, definitely not a lawnmower beverage. Active carbonation. Overall, pretty nice stuff.

Lots of hop grapefruitish flavor, mild hop bitterness, smooth as a bare baby’s bottom on the end. The beer does everything well and definitly does not SUCK! All that I can say is damn what a great beer!

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12oz bottle. Pours a very light golden color with a thin white foam head that leaves a few rings of lace. Aroma has a big hit of grapefruit and piney hops in the nose with a decent amount of sweet malt in the background. Taste is slightly sweet up front, some caramel, cream, and cracker. Hops make thier push through the middle. Finish is dry and crisp with some resin and hints of pineapple, mangos, and oranges. There is also some pine bitterness on the finish as well. Mouthfeel is pretty full, smooth, with crisp carbonation.

Holy crap, this is a tasty beverage. It’s not overly hopped like many IPAs today, and has a very complex flavor from all the grains. Freakin delicious.

bottle thanks to iantbonewilson. Dark gold, orange, copper color. Carbonation is medium but is nice! High bitterness. Very balanced aroma: hops all around, herby and light fruit.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottled. Pours a clear gold with a frothy white head. Big hoppy aroma, earthy, grapefruit. Very resinous, grapefruit flavored IPA in its most classic form. Finishes a little oily and a touch astringent. Terrific IPA.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Serving: 12 oz. bottle from Wegmans Leesburg. It pours a dark gold with a lasting white head. The nose is a potent mix of tropical fruit, citrus, and a hint of malt sweetness. Full bodied and smooth on the tongue, this brew blasts your tongue with hops. Tons of grapefruit, citrus zest, and tropical fruit notes all bound together with a great malt backbone. A nice, long finish. This brew is outstanding.
