Pours out golden and with an orange blush on it. Fat creamy head of off white foam that lasts and leaves sticky lace. I was expecting a bigger nose but it’s a bit shy. Sultry even. It has a tropical fruit sweetness and bit of mango. Soft suggestion of pine but nothing sharp. Fresh ripe orange and a bit of sugar for a malt presence on the nose. Some orange peel to really sweeten it and brighten it. Taste is a light delicious juicy mouthful of liquid fruit. Fresh orange with tropical underpinnings. Gentle pine. The malt is supple and graceful and like a bit of sugar. It drinks with a bit of hop oil on the body of the beer, thin and has a touch of sticky resin to coat the mouth and leave a softly moderate bitter. Dries the palate and finishes with a faint spice and a bit more bitter with a pleasant aftertaste like fresh orange juice. There is no alcohol on this beer save for a touch of warmth. Drinks so easily and has an amazing lightness .

Tap at New Bohemia. Truly a great representation of the style. A visually appealing beer with an orange color and well-clinged lacing. Incredibly smooth and easy to drink. Malt driven sweetness but that presence of hop throughout. This is a very solid brewery and I would put this double IPA up as their best effort.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a clear golden orange with a fluffy white head. A somewhat soapy note on the nose, lots of citrusy hops, sticky pine, and a nice bit of malt. Very smooth taste, pineapple and mango, orange rind, and a nice bready malt note. Super fresh juicy tasting citrus and tropical fruits, and a nice malt backbone. Delicious.

Grapefruit and pine aroma. Pours a cloudy honey gold with a thick white head that fades relatively quickly leaving lots of lacing. Graefruit. Pretty sweet. Mouth coating. Hard candy like texture. Very smooth. I thought this was going to be really bitter but it's not. It's very smooth.

wonderful aroma of pine and resin perhaps a grapefruit or lemony hint as well..nice clear amber gold color thin white head..taste..NOW you get the rye and oats nice and strong to balance the hoppiness mentioned in the aroma, very well done..the palate is rather light-med bodied and well carbonated with a bitter dry finish overall it’s cool that a beer called "sucks" might actually be one of their best beers

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a highly carbonated golden color with a bright white head. Aromas of lemons, sweet ruby grapefruit, and pines. A lemony and bready taste. A very lively carbonation and slightly oily mouthfeel. A pleasnt dyness in the finish. It does ’suck’ that there is no Brown Sugga available but this will do well as a substitution.
