The only way I can explain this beer is a IPA mixed with holiday spices that is blended to perfection

Pours an attractive deep copper with a cream colored head. Nose and flavor are full and hop forward with pine and citrus, balanced out by substantial caramel and toffee. Medium - full mouthfeel.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Blast of floral piney hops from the start. Deep amber color. At first a quick dose of bitterness which then switches to a sweet malty finish. Sense a some pepper rye on the tongue. Has that crispy west coast hoppiness to it. Has a refreshing crispiness to it. Well worth a try.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
12 oz bottle. Pours light gold, lager-like to the eye. Ain’t no lager, though. Thin head that dissipates quickly. Amazing bouquet of peppery/citrus hop, with . . . juniper? Clove like aromas abound. Odd but it definitely works. Medium malt body in the background. The "Jagger" in this brew is/are the hops. A wondrous prickly bitterness coats the palate, bringing out an amazing array of flavors. They abound in the astringent environment. A kick-ass ale. Hard to believe this was a last minute replacement for another brew. It definitely DOES NOT suck. Thank you sir, may I have another.

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pours rich golden with a tiny white head. Smells piney, resinous, and explodes with citrus. Taste is quite bitter, but not too much so, and has some citrus and pine flavors with hints of a cereal like graininess. Medium-bodied with a slick texture and mild mouth-carbonation, Lagunitas Sucks Holiday Ale finishes with some lingering soft bitterness.

Bottle. Poured a darker yellow almost amber color with a smaller white head. Aroma was almost like an IPA. Strong spruce and hops. Flavor was pine, caramel, and hop bitters. Malty up front and hops in the bitters. A very good beer.
