Clear, orange-pink pout, head dissipates quickly except along the side of the glass. Grapefruit and peach in the aroma. Flavor is a concentration of the aroma (initial peach/grapefruit, followed by grapefruit bitterness), and crisp.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma strong of pine resin with herbal, floral hints. Flavor is all hops, strong on grapefruit and pine resin, floral, with the citrus taking more of a lead over time. Relatively clean finish. Very nice, just not sure why it isn’t classed as an (I)IPA.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Light resinous hop aroma. Thick white foamy head with long retention. Tastes of grapefruit citrus and resinous hops with a caramel and toffee background. Finishes with a long bitter hoppy bitterness. Full bodied with a medium carbonation. Very good hoppy beer.

12 oz. Clear burnt orange with a lasting film of cream. Big aroma of Fruit Loops, minty green herb and resin, with some catspray. Taste starts as the same powerful blend. Mostly stays that way, but later develops some peppery rye and toasted wheat bread flavors. Light-medium body is soft and airy in the mouth, and very much to the dry side.

Lagunita’s attempt to make up for the very small batch of Brown Shugga brewed in 2012 really is a success! Very nice reddish, almost orangish color, just the right amount of carbonation for me, apparent, fresh and strong hop taste that’s very enjoyable and isnt too skunky or bitter. Brewed with a mix of 4 different grain malts. This beer goes down so greatly and can be chugged if desired and not leave you feeling discomforted. One of the the best beers i’ve ever had!

Hoppy in a pine resin and citrus way. Maybe I’m just not in the mood tonight but whatever.
