4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Excellent IPA. I’m an IPA guy, and my two favorites are Two Hearted (OK, not an IPA, but a pale ale) and Zombie Dust. Lagunitas Sucks is in between those two. Citrusy hops and a lighter palate. I really enjoyed it and will be finding a sixer or two to have at home. On tap at Riverside Tap Room.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 ounce bottle - $1.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a near clear, light pale copper-hued body with an inch of white suds.
Smell: Heady, fruity notes of tropical fruits, varied citruses with pith included, a little liquid soap, and some resinous grassy undertones.
Taste: Pale malts, a bit of breadiness, and a low, brief sweetness imparted. Resiny, grassy, floral, but rather fruity, with tastes of pithy tangerine, mango, white grapefruit, pineapple. Moderate bitterness. Sourish, fruit juice quality with a sliver of resin and soapiness on the drying, bitterish finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Another hoppy-something from Lagunitas.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a clear amber with a brief head with continual lacing. The aroma is huge on hops, mostly pine notes, but some floral qualities, too. The flavor is great. Hoppy and bitter through and through, but a rich malt in the background and some caramel and molasses.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft. Poured a clear golden color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate spruce and citrus hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. My expectations where met.
