Dark, dark red with very little head. This beer is incredibly sweet, from smell to taste. Dominant aromas are molasses, raisins, and some spice. Flavor is figs and brown sugar. This is not complex, and arguably too sweet, but I found it strangely satisfying.

12 oz. bottle. O.G.1.090, 8.7% ABV, IBU 56.7. Pours a tannish head of good duration. over a clear reddish brown body.....nose of spice malts and dried fruit....taste initially slight malt sweetness, powering into cherry and fig sweetness, finishing with hoppy tart bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium to heavy and very creamy.

Deep reddish brown with a light brown head. Very malty aroma with hints of dark fruits. I thought the flavor was a bit too sweet, but not bad. Pretty thick palate with a long finish. Just average overall.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown color with an extremely large, off-white and frothy head. Lacing is very strong on this beast. Aromas of toasted malts and a bit of spruce. Very smooth texture with a creamy finish. Tastes of malts, caramel, and a bit of port. Good beer.

Tap @ Bailey’s Taproom... Poured poured amber with a beige head with some nice lacing. Aroma of earthy malts. Not a lot of carbonation on the palate but was thick and full. Flavors of tea leavers and sweet sugars like caramel. Not a lot of hop bitterness but a little tartness from the alcohol.
