650ml bottle pours brown in color with a finger of off-white head and a few spots of lace. Aroma is caramel and dark fruits with a trace of chocolate malts and alcohol. Taste is big malty sweetness up front with some nice hoppy bitterness to create a nice balance of flavors. Medium to heavy body and some light carbonation. A good beer to sip on a cold winter day.

On tap beer #3 at Big Game @ Sierra. nice dark hue, off white coffee head. Aromas are big, boozy, citrus, roasted malts, caramel. Palate is crazy smooth, ABV hidden well, big malty bomb with bitter hop finish. I’d actually say this one could age well.

Very dark brown ale with aromas of toffee, molasses and dark fruit. Rich and creamy on the palate - flavours of dark chocolate and molasses, slight bitterness. Alcohol is nicely hidden. Smooth and lots of flavour - I really enjoyed this one.

A good fruity and hopped up malty beer from Lagunitas. The pour is a bright ruby amber with a thick yellow foamy head. The aroma is fresh and hoppy with some good caramel malt and light figgy fruit. The taste is hopped on the finish with a sweet malty middle. The finish is alcohol pungent with a solid fragrant NW hop. Overall, okay brew, but not fantastic.

With a big head, this brew from Lagunitas is a deep brown with copper edges. The nose is very malty with dark fruit and some hot alcohol.
Big and malty like a Trappist quad, there are a ton of complex flavors going on here. Sweet malt, dark fruit, butterscotch, and a dry finish that presents some hop character.
Very smooth and creamy, this is an outstanding beer, and the best I’ve had from Lagunitas.
