| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 2, 2008 Poured from tap a dark brown with small off-white head and not much carbonation. The aroma was light at first. Needed to sit a while to build. Soft hop aroma with orange peel and soy. Flavor of toffee and earthiness with some teriyaki. Easy to sip with not much alcohol noticible. This is one I’d like to try again. 10%drunk (12), Auburn, Washington, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Feb 29, 2008 Burgundy red color with a thin off white head. Toffee and malt aromas with the sting of the alcohol. Low carbonation and thick full body. Molasses, carmel, and toffee and definate flavors. A heavy, sticky, sweet alcohol finish. At least it’s quick. guzzler67 (1277), Hanover, Maryland, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 29, 2008 Clear mahogany appearance with an average size beige head and modest lacing. Caramel malt aroma with hints of molassas and dark fruit. Sweet, malty taste moderately offset by earthy, roasted flavors. Hops are a little more prevelant later on the palate and help it from becoming too cloying. Smooth, medium-to-full bodied mouthfeel with a lingering finish. djd07 (733), Houston, Texas, USA

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Feb 25, 2008 Syrupy, without a head, dark, stewy fruit flavors and some boozy and bitter dryness finishing things out. Not the quite the description of what I like, even if I love this brewery.
