Maltty rum fruit cake with bready crust, brown sugar and citrus hops. Taste has more hops, and alcohol. Bitterness, rum fruit cake and alcohol make for a medicinal finish. Small creamy head that soon disappears. Prominent lacing is left behind. Aroma is exaggerated malts with some creamy egg salad notes? Interesting, but muted overall. Aroma is molasses, raisins, and thick syrupy malts. Definitely a winter brew. Syrupy and bitter, thick and aggressive, with a fair finish. Not bad. kidmartinek (975), austin, Texas, USA
