Maltty rum fruit cake with bready crust, brown sugar and citrus hops. Taste has more hops, and alcohol. Bitterness, rum fruit cake and alcohol make for a medicinal finish. Medium amber brown with nice creamy light tan head. Smell is slight malt and honey with some sweet fruity hops too. Metallic up front. Medium carbonation with a thin body. Smooth overall and pretty good. Slightly hoppy finish and bitter aftertaste. Palate becomes nearly oily as it warms - strange.
