Full bodied heavy potent beer, complex profile, dark berries, herbal, wood, caramel, warms you up quickly. DigitalMan (113), Idaho, USA May 15, 2009 Updated: May 28, 2009Re-rate: tried again and liked it even better! Lacing was much more complete, possibly since I was indoors instead of outdoors. Taste is complex but not sour or very bitter. On tap. Darkish. Clean, mildly sweet, inviting aroma. Taste follows nicely. Some lacing, head dissipates very quickly, but I don’t care much about that. A nice, just hoppy enough finish. Good one. wcampbell (572), Central, South Carolina, USA May 11, 2009 Decent, but a little sweet. Taste of sweet plums. Not much else to speak of. Some vanilla and yeast as well. A little alcohol in the finish. No where near as full bodied as I expected. Smooth, but not especially enjoyable.
