Aroma is fruity, roasted malt and a dark caramel note. Flavour starts sweet and soon gain in loads of caramel malt, mild dark fruit notes and a slight liquorish flavour. A bit of floral hops and brown sugar in the nose. Flavor was mainly malt also, with some nice bitter fruit and a very light raisin sweetness. Thick, syrupy, and quick. A nice barley wine... Nice two finger head which sticks around leaving a beautiful lace. Malty sweet smells along with floral hops.Taste is caramel sweetness balanced by perfumy floral hops with a alcohol bite in the background. Full bodied, the mouthfeel is rich and creamy.
This brew already tastes like a well aged barley wine. Excellent.

Aroma of mostly caramel malt, so sweet almost fruity. Very much like a barleywine. The flavor is similar, sugar and caramel malt; maybe a slight tartness in the finish. Quite nice to drink. Some alcohol noticeable. Decent brew.
