On tap at While Foods, it’s clear & brown, it has a sweet doughy smell, the flavor is sweet malted barley with a hint of citrus hops.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
bomber that poured a dark red to mahogany color with off white head that last for a little while..decent lacing on the glass. aroma is medium malt with slight sweetness that I enjoyed. seems like dark fruit mixed in there. and some hop bitterness in the middle. the flavor is more of the same...complex from the start malt, dark fruit, hop bitterness and then alcohol burn but yet mild just kind of ends with a nice cohesive sweetness.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours from bomber a dark mahogany color with a ruby glow and an off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit, roastiness, and molasses with a tinged of malts. Flavour of sour raspberries, roasted malts, sweet chocolate, hoppy field grass. Really reminded me of SAB. Pretty good.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a chestnut brown/reddish color with an off white head. Aroma of caramel, bread, dough, slight dark fruit and alcohol. Taste is the same with a bit more dark fruit coming through. Nice sticky residue on the lips. This is a tasty brew, interesting. Full body to go with the ABV. I really wanted to loooove this beer, but its just kinda blah with a weird astringency. The cost saves it. 9.1% for under $5. NICE!

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from a bomber. Thin white head on a clear red / brown ale. Mild aroma of bread and maybe a bit of vanilla. Brown sugar, apricot, and mild spices dominate. Medium body. Taste is sweet throughout before a crisp finish. Not terribly boozy, but 22 oz. and we’ll call it a night.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Good solid strong ale. Alcohol very noticable both in the nose and tounge. Proceed with caution. 4 bucks for a bomber too so hell of a deal for the quality you get.

First off a great leather color. Though there isn’t much nose. A caramel, mild hops, and malt profile.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from a 22. Aroma is boozy (whiskey) and brown sugar. Flavor is bitter and astringent with a definite bite to it. There is some subtle sweetness in the flavor, almost like a bit of a butterscotch.
