3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
This pours a dark, dark red with a minimal head and strong lacing. The aroma smells almost like tea, with an underlying bitterness. The taste is a multilayered one, starting bitter, fading to sweet, and then leaving a bitter aftertaste. Alcohol is well hidden in the flavor, a very enjoyable beer.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from a bomber - don’t see any dating on the bottle.
Aroma - very sweet. Red licorice-ish...very candy-ish.
Appearance - dark copper red color. Very little head.
Taste - well, the taste follows the aroma spot on. Very sweet taste.
Palate - the sweetness does linger nicely....this is a very strong boozy beer.
Overall - Lagunitas makes another good beer, this one is just something I couldn’t drink 2 of back to back....

Dark brown with red tint and off white to tan head. Aroma is sweet and grassy. Taste is sweet. Caramel and vanilla malt. Nice. To sweet to drink a lot, but still enjoyable.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours brown with red highlights. Aroma of brown sugar, dark malts, and fruit. Heavy malt flavor, but well balanced with flowery bitterness. Finishes slightly sweet. This has some Belgian characteristics. Not overly complex. Good, but not the best offering I’ve had from Lagunitas.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Great deep color, good malt profile, booziness not hidden at all. Malts make it fairly palatable, though. Very warming. Not my favorite from them, but definitely worth trying at least once.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Perihelial Release (I’m not tooo late since perihelion was 3 Jan) with an ABV of 9.1%. Dark amber with reddish tint, large spongy beige head, faint vanilla like aroma, caramel-burnt malt taste, medium carbonation, smooth medium finish with a burnt aftertaste. Quite smooth to drink and a loveble eyeball indeed!

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours clear dark brown, red lights, with a slightly off-white ring.
Caramel, fruit, sugar aroma.
Taste is sweet....caramel malt, berry...
Alcohol is wondrously hidden, with a slight warming nature......slightly woody....
Incredibly smooth, and very tasty.
