COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"Here’s Lookin’ Atcha’!"

Laying there, staring up at the ceiling, head pounding, last night was a dim recollection. How did he get home? Was he alone? Looking to the left and right, the answer was yes, maybe. His head was full of ’rag water, bitters, and the blue ruin’.His teeth felt like he’d been chewing aluminum and his breath smelled like a burning tractor tire. There was a wrenching knot somewhere between his liver and East St. Louis and he couldn’t be sure whether or not he’d wet himself. A yellow sine wave rang in his ears so loud nit made his teeth itch and he was sure that if he touched his skin anywhere it would induce a rhythmic retching jag. Even in the face of all that, he found himself smiling at the realization that today represented the fresh breast of a new year- an undiscovered country- and also there was still one warm, half-full, flat redolent Hairy Eyeball on the nightstand. Yes-there is a God.

Beautifully dark beer with thick texture and a very sweet taste. Very lightly hopped with an almost empty after taste.

The picture of the dog on the bottle is freaking me out with his one bulging eyeball, totally reminds of when Homer got the grease sucking hose stuck to his face and when he pulls it off his face his eye is sticking out all blood shoot. EXTRA POINT!!! Dark amber body with a off white cap floating on top. Aroma is weak but tasty, some alcohol, spice, sweetness, caramel, I can dig it. Taste is awesome!!!! Sweet malts kind of a cherry, oaky with a mild bitter finish. Beer is completely slammable! What is this nameless spice?!?!?! Can Lagunitas do any wrong?!?!? I use to not enjoy them but now I’m in love. The smoothness of this beer is awesome. Simple, clean, drinkable, what ells can be said.

Bottle. Pours clear brown with a mostly lasting, creamy beige head that leaves excellent lacing. Aroma of malt, caramel and hay. Taste is medium to heavy sticky sweet, lightly bitter, medium to heavy body, average carbonation, oily to creamy texture. Rich flavors of caramel, malt, cereal and sweet dark fruits. Finish is malty and sticky sweet. Completely hides the alcohol.

Pours a dark brown but clean and clear color with a decent thick head. Aroma is huge malt, caramel, nutty, bread, chocolate, coffee, a weak anise flavor, and a slight sugary, candy note that is more pleasant than usual, and a finish of slight hop bitter. Taste is a very smooth malt, bready and doughy, burnt caramel, weak coffee, chocolate, and a bitter that is almost as much from the coffee as the hops. Texture is smooth and velvety out of the bottle, my compatriot says it is more lively off draft. Overall a great beer, very easy to drink, and 9.4%!

Bottle. Pours clear deep reddish hazel with a medium creamy beige head that dissipates slowly with nice lacing. Aroma is malty, caramel, toffee, nutty, pine, perhaps a touch of smoke. Flavor is medium sweet and lightly bitter, malty, nutty, pine. Medium plus body, creamy mouthfeel. Meh

Clear deep red pour. Thin head fades quick. Aroma is light with candy. Mouth is thick. Taste is very strong. Sugar, candy, molasses and caramel. Super sweet, but this is kind of one note and not overly interesting. A little lace present.

A- Pours a deep brownish hue with a small, 1 finger tan head which fades quickly. S- Hints of brown sugar and unidentifiable sweetness. T- Lots of raisin, artificial dark fruit, hints of brown sugar, molasses. M- Medium bodied with a decent amount of carbonation. D- This was a decent brew overall but not one of lagunitas stronger
