COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"Here’s Lookin’ Atcha’!"

Laying there, staring up at the ceiling, head pounding, last night was a dim recollection. How did he get home? Was he alone? Looking to the left and right, the answer was yes, maybe. His head was full of ’rag water, bitters, and the blue ruin’.His teeth felt like he’d been chewing aluminum and his breath smelled like a burning tractor tire. There was a wrenching knot somewhere between his liver and East St. Louis and he couldn’t be sure whether or not he’d wet himself. A yellow sine wave rang in his ears so loud nit made his teeth itch and he was sure that if he touched his skin anywhere it would induce a rhythmic retching jag. Even in the face of all that, he found himself smiling at the realization that today represented the fresh breast of a new year- an undiscovered country- and also there was still one warm, half-full, flat redolent Hairy Eyeball on the nightstand. Yes-there is a God.

12-oz bottle. Foamy, full head. Aroma of licorice, caramel, and vanilla extract. Color is medium brown and clear. Heavy sweetness. Heavy full body, sticky texture, almost syrupy. Surprisingly clean finish for such a heavy beer. The finish makes the beer drinkable, and not just for sipping.

Bomber from Bradleys. Deep, rusty ruby with little head. Sweet toffee with roasty malts and dark fruits. Sweet malty flavour with a ton of booze. Better as it warmed.

Keg at the brewery tap room, Petaluma, 03/02/16. Rich amber brown with a well appointed beige covering. Nose is sweet malt, dark fruits, toasted grain, toffee. Taste comprises rich toffee, fruit cake, dates, booze tunes, rich malt. Full bodied, fine carbonation, warming alcohol in the close. Decent enough strong.

Draft at source. A huge malty nose with raisin and plum overtones. Lots of dried cherry as well. A deep red to brown pour with small white head. Taste is immediately high boost with deep dried fruits and more alcohol warming. Decent but needs to tame down the boost.

Very heavy sent as well as taste. Not a light beer by any stretch caramel coffee hints can tell that the abc is up there. Definitely to be served in a sniffer and would recommend for an after dinner or desert brew

Pours a dark brown (but light will break through it). Lacing lingers long after the head is gone. Smell of dark fruit and sugar. Sweet, dark fruit, roasted malt, but there is a hint of something that reminds me of artificial grape soda. As it gets warmer that taste goes away and the malt gets stronger. Can feel the alcohol on the first sips. Not a bad beer, but just a lot on the market that I would choose over this).

Aroma caramel, raisin, roasty, Appearance amber, orange, tan foam, Taste medium sweetness, Palate medium body, lively, Overall a nice American strong ale that hides the 9.1% alcohol well. Nothing really wows me with this beer so for that reason I would not suggest this beer to a friend.
