Poured a deep amber color w/a huge foamy tan head w/lasted thru the brew. Floral hop aroma w/a touch of malt. Had a strong hop flavor on first taste, but that initial bite was well balanced by a full malt finish w/touches of roasted almonds & caramel. Well balanced brew. Alcohol was well hidden. Mouthfeel was a little thin, but it did not take away from the enjoyment of this brew. Thanks Andy! tomthompson89 (1494), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Some mild caramel and toffee malt. Inoffensive but really nothing spectacular. Pours a nice looking dark copper with a frothy white head leaving excellent lacing. Fairly aggressively hopped for an ASA. Lots of bitter, oily hops with just a bit of malt to back them up. Bitter across the entire tongue. Not quite palate shredding, but close. Medium bodied and fairly creamy. Finishes bitter with some alcohol astringency. JCB (1799), Durham, North Carolina, USA

A trace of hops in the nose, with some caramel too. But the taste is a real face-wrecker, all bitter hop aggression, like Arrogant Bastard on basement meth. Some sweet malts raise their hands in the back of the class, but this beer lets you know who’s boss. Defreni (1048), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Perfekt humlet ale ;) Seriøst en meget afbalanceret øl hvor balancen gør at humlen netop ikke bliver for meget. Blev meget glædeligt overrasket da bitterheden ikke blev for meget. Super. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 7, 2007 The aroma was slightly floral with an alcohol note and malt tones. The beer poured a nice amber color with good head and lacing. The flavor was sweet and crisp with hints of citrus, flowers, and caramel. I also noted an alcohol bit to it. The mouthfeel was well rounded and clean with a nice bitterness and carbonation. Tasty. henrikb (1306), Aarhus, Denmark
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 2, 2007 Clear amber body, beige creamy head; Very small hoppy fresh nose; Balanced body, very innocent, lacks complexity and strength (9.28?); It grows in finish, that has some fill and a little power, hop is present and a little malty sweetness. Very pleasant, but VERY innocent to. Nihon (240), Vernon, Connecticut, USA
