We brewed this especially bitter ale in dedication to all the worldís would-be astronauts, in remembrance of the 2005 St. Patrickís Day Massacre on the Brewery Party Grounds and also in joyous celebration of our 20-day suspension that following January. Do the crime. Do the time. Get the bragging rights. Cheers!

Bottle into a Lagunitas jar. Aroma of hops and pine. Taste is pretty smooth, not especially sweet or bitter. Body is medium and Iím aware of the alcohol (presumably a late 2015 or early 2016 bottle at 9.5%) but it doesnít hit you over the head until youíve had a couple. Nice orange/amber color with little foam that vanishes rapidly. Citrus, malt, hops, booze and a grapefruity finish rather than bitter hops. Very nice offering, but halfway through the first glass Iím thinking íMassive Hangoverí! It is way too easy drinking for the punch it packs, but Iíll certainly buy another sixer of this fine brew as long as it is available.

Draft @ WOB Viera. Dark amber body, little head. Solid hops offset by an almost peppery earthiness. Alcohol barely evident.

Body is banana with grass and a bit of mustard. Tastes like an English barleywine.

Poured from a bottle. Surprisingly delicious offering, for sure my highest rated by Lagunitas. Subtle vanilla aroma, dark golden and cloudy. Creamy texture, just a bit tart.

Bottled. Pours deep copper Burgundy. Big pillowy vanilla creme head. Aroma is West coast hops, pine, resin, really prominent very ripe tangerine, peach, mango. Little bit of a burnt sugar sort of deal, malt I guess youíd call it caramel? Thereís a definite sugary malty sweetness. Flavor is really nice. Hoppy pine up front, orange, peach, mango, again, but more sugar residual sweetness. Not too malty, just sugary and again, not too much balanced out well by the hops. Solidly bitter finish. A little boozy. Itís Lagunitas, Iím gonna go ahead and guess this guy is like mid 8s percentage wise. Oh wow, itís 9.8, I see that but itís not overly boozy. It hides it well. Jesus Lagunitas makes a good product.

Poured from the bottle of a six pack, clear copper with white head, this is strong, bitter, hoppy boozy, and malty sweet beer. The high alcohol is my favorite thing about it.

Sample on tap at the brewpub. Clear copper pour with thin white head. Aroma is spicy, lots of caramel, leafy/peppery hops, fruity notes. Taste is sweet, caramel, lingering bitter/spicy finish. Palate is full bodied, light carb.

Drank from a twelve ounce bottle, thank you Jess. Tastes like Lagunitas, move along.

Bottle. Pours amber gold with off white head. Nose of spruce, nectarine, candied lemon, syrupy sugar and breadiness. Flavor is some dense syrupy honeylike malt with an assertive juicy apricot, tangerine and floral hop bite typical of any ASA. Slick, syrupy, smooth & silky mouthfeel. Pretty nice!
