COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We brewed this especially bitter ale in dedication to all the world’s would-be astronauts, in remembrance of the 2005 St. Patrick’s Day Massacre on the Brewery Party Grounds and also in joyous celebration of our 20-day suspension that following January. Do the crime. Do the time. Get the bragging rights. Cheers!

A good beer. Just different from my favorite lags "strong ale". I love the hops and this has em. Good up front sweet hop aroma. A little sweet in taste but is very quickly evacuating my glass. Lagunitas has a nice beer portfolio for the every man beer drinker. And this adds to that. A good beer worth having a glass or bottle or whatever you prefer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Better Beer Of The Month Club. Clear copper with an off-white head. Aroma of piney and resinous hops, a bit stale, some caramel and cookies. Sweet flavor of chewy malt, caramel, cookies, some fruitiness, a bit of licorice, and piney hops, slightly stale, with a bitter finish. Medium-bodied.

Clear copper with a big head. Aroma spicy and citrusy, with an earthy note. Taste full and bitter, but with a strong orange liquor note. Very rich, Second sip is much sweeter. However, it is surprisingly drinkable, and the palate, while sweet, is not cloying. Very interesting beer.

12oz bottle poured into a tulip glass. Clear copper color with a decent off white head. Earthy nose, with some pine hops and light tropical notes. Chewy malt, caramel, lots of hop flavor, medium bitterness, pleasant fruitiness and faint nuttiness. Med-full body, alcohol well hidden, quite rich and flavorful, interesting and nice.

12oz bottle into Le Duvel - Nose is cat urine and ultra fresh hops. Sip adds grapefruit and booze. Strong and tasty like a DIPA but maltier.

This draft brew from a restaurant poured a head of foamy dark white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a softly carbonated transparent orange colored body and a spiderweb lacing. The almost non-existent aroma was mild malt and mild hop. The sharp crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and strongly tingly at the finish with a biting hoppy aftertaste. The sharp flavor contained notes of vinous sweet crisp && clean caramel and hops. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

Amber brew that smells of alcohol and hops. Taste was slight sweetness but held to a minimum by the citrus/pine hops that lingered in the aftertaste. there was a small alcohol burn but nothing that took away from the great taste this beer offers. Glad I went for the six pack rather than the single on this one because it is very good and with the ABV will bet I am feeling fine after the last one.
