We brewed this especially bitter ale in dedication to all the world’s would-be astronauts, in remembrance of the 2005 St. Patrick’s Day Massacre on the Brewery Party Grounds and also in joyous celebration of our 20-day suspension that following January. Do the crime. Do the time. Get the bragging rights. Cheers!

12fl oz bottle. Pours a clear caramel with a one finger, white head that laces well and has nice legs. Aroma has big juicy notes of pine, citrus, resin, tropical fruits, carmel, and a touch of alcohol. Really nice. Taste is bitter but not overly. Sweet caramel, orange citrus, pine, resin, and a bit of alcohol and dark fruit on the finish. Medium-full body with a medium carbonation. Slightly syrupy texture with a dry finish. Overall a really nice strong. Juicy hop flavours mixed with caramel, alcohol, and a touch of dark fruits.

Poured from bottle to tulip a clear copper with thin off white head and nice lacing. Aroma was malts, citrus, floral and a bit of caramel. Mouthfeel was creamy. Taste was a real nice balance of malt and citrus hoppyness. Some caramel and bitter in the finish. Real nice, I enjoyed this one.

C Lear copper pour with thick clingy white head. Aroma is citrus and floral. Taste follows nose, but appears watered down and a little funky. Very good, but not the best.

Draft to taster. Looks good; a transparent orange with eggshell head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells bittersweet with notes of bitter hops and malt. Tastes like it smells with a solid mouthfeel that’s fairly light for the style. Enjoyable, and drinks easier than its abv.
