COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We brewed this especially bitter ale in dedication to all the world’s would-be astronauts, in remembrance of the 2005 St. Patrick’s Day Massacre on the Brewery Party Grounds and also in joyous celebration of our 20-day suspension that following January. Do the crime. Do the time. Get the bragging rights. Cheers!

tap - Pours clear copper with a small, lingering, off-white head. The aroma is mainly citrus and resin hops. The taste has high bitterness and a good malt backbone that combined with soft carbonation makes it go down easy.It finishes with lasting bitterness.

Pours a lovely burnt orange with creamy white head and lacing. Aromas of fresh citrus and herbs. Nice citrus bitterness. Fresh green flavors everywhere. This is really good.

1- piney, bready sweetness in background, a hint of caramel 2- dark golden to light orange, an off-white rocky head with many fast rising bubbles 3- Huge hop flavor with a high hop bitterness as well, a touch of caramel sweetness as it warms 4- medium body with a medium high carb level, long sticky bitter finish 5- a very enjoyable beer if you are looking for a hop bomb. A beer from Lagunitas never disappoints.

This is a damn good brew. I picked it up on a whim after working 7 days straight and this hit the mark and then some! Smell and taste are perfect, very piney and the alcohol is masked very well. Definitely a beer to watch yourself with as these are easy drinkers.

Bottle, smell of sweet fruit, appearance is clear amber with off white head, taste is sweet fruit, malt, and slight pine. Lagunitas nailed it again.

Bottle pour..golden amber color..nose is solid with pungent citrus..bursting grapefruit..taste has got the citrus from nose with an ample sweet side..held in check by proper bitterness..in all a tasty offering with that usual lagunitas profile..tasty high octane stuff..

Draft. Pours deep burgundy in color with thin white head that dissipates. Medium carbonation over malty hop aroma. A malty caramel flavor that's nice and smooth. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Shut down is right. End the night with this one. Very balanced and drinkable but packs a wallop. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clean, dark copper color. Aromatic hops waft from the glass as soon as I start pouring - grapefruit, pine and herbs(not herb.) Strong alcohol and bitter flavors, with a little sweet caramel malt. A very slight higher alcohol off-flavor, paint thinner? Drink it fresh for a DIPA effect, but I bet it would age beautifully for years.

Pours a clear medium amber with a slight dark ruby cast. An exceptional head that retains excellently with massive lacing. This is how a beer should look. The nose is a blend of sweet tropical hops over a slight grapefruit coupled with a sweet caramel background. Almost full bodied with a nice creamy mouthfeel. Slightly below normal carbonation with just a touch of effervescence on the finish. The flavor profile is quite nice, complex and fairly well balanced. It begins with the tropical and grapefruit hops of the nose which flows into a pleasant tasty bitterness. The bitterness fades into the background hop and caramel sweetness. The finish is smooth and a slight medicinal alcoholic bite lingers. The medicinal finish is the only flaw with this well crafted exceptional ale, but at 9.7% alcohol it is minimal. Excellent job Lagunitas!!
