COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We brewed this especially bitter ale in dedication to all the world’s would-be astronauts, in remembrance of the 2005 St. Patrick’s Day Massacre on the Brewery Party Grounds and also in joyous celebration of our 20-day suspension that following January. Do the crime. Do the time. Get the bragging rights. Cheers!

Pours a honey amber color with a nice off white head. This is a very pretty beer. Aroma is fruity hops, and some toffee. The taste is big malty caramel, with a nice hop presence, slight sweet and some what boozy. Good beer with a hop taste but not overly bitter.

Pours medium to dark amber with medium sized, off white head. Aroma of typical tropical fruit and dank hops. Flavor is slightly sweet tropical fruit with a little piney hops and soapy aftertaste. Taste like a Bigfoot with pineapple juice. I’ve had this a million times, first time review.

Pours a deep copper color into goose Island tulip glass. I get some pine and maple in the aroma. The flavor works in harmony with roasted nuts and spicy floral hops. Really a complex palate. These were bottled at 9.3% and is a warming sipper. Good night-cap.

Nice beer! Light, malty, fruity, caramel, with a weird lingering bitterness. Wouldn’t single out to find but would drink again

Amber color , thin off-white head. Strong aroma of pine mixed with citrus. Hoppy , bitter taste with sweet , malty background. Very good beer, juicy and malty on same time.

Draft at world of beer denver. Mild malty aroma, reddish orange pour with thin white foam. Bitter taste balanced by hops and malt, kind of low a kick as ESB. Good.

Draft: Pours amber with a white head. Aroma and flavor is pine with a hit of fruitiness. A little sweetness with a touch of bitterness at the finish.

Directly from the bottle. Mouthfeel was heavy and oily. Lots of thick malt in this one. Mediciny aroma of cherries, berries and some alcohol. Taste was very sweet. Some cherries and berries. Lots of malt. Plenty of hops but no bitterness; my guess is that was "balanced out" by all the sugar they dumped in this one. Just way too sweet for me. Yet again, another Lagunitas beer that was way too sweet.

Bottle from Whole Foods Market in Redwood City, CA. Pours a medium amber with little-to-no head. Aroma is first malts, then tropically fruited hops. Taste is the same but with a thin underbelly of bourbon. Finishes bitter. Has an Old Fashioned quality.

Another lovely from Lagunitas. Bottle from Hy-Vee. Lots of malt. Semi-sweet with a good dose of hops to round it out at the end.
