COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We brewed this especially bitter ale in dedication to all the world’s would-be astronauts, in remembrance of the 2005 St. Patrick’s Day Massacre on the Brewery Party Grounds and also in joyous celebration of our 20-day suspension that following January. Do the crime. Do the time. Get the bragging rights. Cheers!

Great IPA. Simple, bitter and hoppy. All it should be: grapefruit, citrus, pine.

pours a rich clear copper with a substantial tan head. Aroma is sweet floral and citrus. Taste is outstanding. Somewhat creamy mouth feel. bright citrus then good hop bitter. Just a faint malt sweetness for good balance. Pleasant nasal linger. Great beer!

Chappy's, Dayton, draft. Creamy off-white head, but it fades fast. Looks like a broke ale. No aroma I can discern. Light mouthfeel, big post-swallow hut of bitter, hops and malt. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

10oz draft at brewery. Pours a deep reddish copper with an off white head. Floral, grapefruit and toffee aromas. Medium high hopped with a semi dry bitter finish.

Deep mohogany pour with a white head. Aroma is big caramel malts, mild hop bight. Taste follows. Honestly somewhat unimpressed.

Smells big and malty. Raisins and syrup and boozy. Taste malty and rich with dried dark fruits and a lasting bitterness. Hop bitterness is seriously resinous - reminds me of a disorderly house ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, shared by me... in my dining room... just now.
Pours a copper color with a good head and nice lacing on the glass.

The aroma offers citrus forward hops and a good bit of sweetness. It’s got some toasty malt and a mild alcohol presence.

The flavor is caramelly and sort of sweet up front, but it’s got a punchy citrus forward hop character & bitterness to balance this somewhat. It’s got pine, it’s got breakfast cereal...

Not sure I’m thrilled about this one, but I also don’t hate it.

4/9/15. Bottle purchased July, 2013. Same rating I originally gave it but definitely a different beer. Still had a big sticky head and cooper color. Nose a bit of a funky edge. Mouth has got big and round. A little less boozy with less of a bite. However still real big with lots of dark smoky notes coming through. Lots of fun ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Lingers a bit to long but has a nice aroma and a descent taste. Worth drinking just not my favorite.

How the heck have I NEVER reviewed this one?!?! 12oz bottle picked up tonight at Whole Foods... Clear light amber brew shows a persistent light tan head that leaves great sheets of lacing. Sharp pithy hoppiness and dry toast in the nose... Expected big bitterness up front and on the finish is only punctuated briefly mid-palate by the pithy grapefruit hops and dry toast/dark caramel notes... Body is medium but accentuated by a lighter carbonation.. Drinkability is a little light for me just because it is a bitter bruiser... Still an obviously well made brew and one of the best stories from any brewery ever.

Amber pour. Big caramel, fruity hops, Toffee, bitter finish, slight sweet booziness. A little muddled, but good stuff.
