COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We brewed this especially bitter ale in dedication to all the world’s would-be astronauts, in remembrance of the 2005 St. Patrick’s Day Massacre on the Brewery Party Grounds and also in joyous celebration of our 20-day suspension that following January. Do the crime. Do the time. Get the bragging rights. Cheers!

Poured from a bottle into a snifter. The beer comes out a very dark amber with a finger or two of white head. It honestly didn’t look that appetizing. The aroma was very grapefruity. The taste on this one was strong bitterness with a sweet finish. This beer was not bad, but not something I am going to seek out again.

Pours a dark amber. White head. Not a whole lot going on. Pretty balanced. Some pine, some caramel, maybe a hint of toffee.

Copper color when poured. Has a malty caramel flavor. Nice hops flavor and isn’t very bitter Goes down smooth for the higher alcohol content.

From the 12 fl. oz bottle. Love that copper-amber pour with the long lasting off-white head. It looks like others in its class but it is attractive. The aroma shouts out hops and butterscotch and maybe whispers a little pear. Medium to full body. The taste begins with a nice toasted malt character and then it erupts into an earthy moderate hop bitterness with a lingering finish.

Poured into pint glass from bottle: Pours copper with an off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, pine, earthy. Taste is a bit sweet but balanced with lots of piney hops. Medium body, medium carbonation. Not as overly sweet as I was expecting. A very nice beer.

Citrus, fresh hop, and light earthy herbal notes. Bubbly amber body and off white thick foamy head. Fresh hop bitterness, dry citrus zest, and grassy notes I n the taste. Crisp and dry on the palate.

6 pack from Ralphs. Smells ok. Copperish color. Tastes ok. Not really bitter. Thick and smooth and creamy and kind of icky. Real think and smooth so it covers almost all the alcohol. It’s ok. It would be a really good Belgium beer.

Deep malty flavor with dark fruit (raisin, fig) and a light hoppiness that comes through at the end. Strong and full.
