COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We brewed this especially bitter ale in dedication to all the world’s would-be astronauts, in remembrance of the 2005 St. Patrick’s Day Massacre on the Brewery Party Grounds and also in joyous celebration of our 20-day suspension that following January. Do the crime. Do the time. Get the bragging rights. Cheers!

I didn't take any extra notes when I tried this beer for the first time but I'm gonna try it again and update my comments. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Total Wine - Fort Myers. Pours red/brown with a small white head with alot of lacing. Aroma is grapefruit, honey, and some pine. Flavor is grapes, pine, honey, black pepper, and burnt wood. Medium mouthfeel with some nice warmth. Overall this is really good.

pours a rich clear copper with a substantial tan head. Aroma is sweet floral and citrus. Taste is outstanding. Somewhat creamy mouth feel. bright citrus then good hop bitter. Just a faint malt sweetness for good balance. Pleasant nasal linger. Great beer!

Had this with MereLikesBeer. Poured a medium brown with tan head. Aroma was a good mix of hoppy and malt. Not quite as good as their IPA, but still very good.I would get this again.Cheers!

Pours a dark amber. White head. Not a whole lot going on. Pretty balanced. Some pine, some caramel, maybe a hint of toffee.

Aroma is hoppy and sweet, a little malty. Color is a clear brownish red with almost no head. Taste is citrus and sweet, and almost floral. Feels like a high abv. Finish is a little slimy.

12-oz bottle. Ap - Pours with a frothy, three-finger thick, tan colored head and leaves a good bit of lacing on the sides of the glass. The beer is a brilliantly clear, concentrated amber color. Ar - The aroma is a heady mix of malt, but mostly hops that is noticeable as soon as I start to pour this brew. Notes of candied orange peel mix with citrus flavored caramel toffees, some notes of apricot and even some tangerine notes. There is a tiny bit of alcohol in the nose as well, and when mixed with the citrus. A touch of herbaceous pine rounds out the aroma. Reminds me of Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale. P - The beer is hefty enough, as it tends to linger on the palate and even has a bit of stickiness to it. T - The beer is sweet and malty up front, which really amplifies the fruity-citrusy hop notes. However the hops are the dominant note in this beer, with notes of red grapefruit, apricot and tangerine found up front. Towards the end an herbal, almost pine like, solid bitterness starts to take hold and lingers on in a long bitter finish. O - And the beer is not so thick and rich as to keep this from being pretty drinkable. It has a definite warming effect like a trippel but with more hops. A very nice brew.

caramel maple and slightly roasty maltinessand citrusy hops balanced along with a pear type aroma..nice clear dark red/bronze brown color pure white head dissipates to quarter inch ring..tastes bitter but with a strong maltiness much like an east coast ipa..strong citrus and piney hops along with the malty flavors mentioned in the aroma, more of a smoky roasty flavor than smell however..very easily drinkable and it was a pretty hot day so it warmed fast..maltiness more pronounced as it warms..overall excellent ipa for any season and as always extra points for costing under 10 bucks for a 6 pack
