5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
It pours a nice amber/medium amber color to it. Oh!...My!!!...God! Hoppy as hell! I love it! Piny/Floral hoppy notes to it as well as grapefruity/fruity notes. This beer is hoppy, hoppy, hoppy and even more hoppy! Piny/floral hop taste. Thick/syrupy malty taste. Amazing! The after taste is a bit fruity. Which is great!

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pretty good beer; the second I've had from this brewery. Loved the IPA(more than this). The malt profile was a little much; to the point where this seemed like a light barley-wine(but not light in ABV).

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Appearance is deep amber with a thick white foam cap. Aroma is all hop... More earthy, herbal, and citrus. Taste is grassy, earthy, onion, with slight bit of pine. Mouthfeel is fairly high. Finish is a soft hop bitterness following by intense alcohol warmth. As the beer warms the alcohol finish becomes very noticeable and leaves a stinging sensation

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
12oz bottle from The Beer Store Wilson. Light amber hue, murky clarity with mostly lasting fizzy off-white head. Good lacing. Strong citrus, floral, booze, light fruit aromas. Heavy bitter citrus and floral tastes up front with a heavy booze and citrus finish. Watery texture on the palate with a light-medium body. Solid beer.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Very Complex. Rich, full bodied flavor - lots of hops but not bitter - an earlier comment said that this had an aroma of BBQ sauce - I would go a step further and say it actually has a slight TASTE of BBQ sauce. In a good way. I think. Definitely an earthy caramel flavor to balanced the hops. My original reaction was that I would not want more than one of these at once, but this beer has so much going on that a second bottle may be required. .

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A deep red cloudy pour with a medium tan head. Aroma is sweet with strong notes of malt, caramel and alcohol, slight notes of grapefruit and brown sugar. The flavor is also sweet with notes of caramel and grapefruit, leading to a very bitter grapefruity finish with a strong hop finish.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
2007, Nice ruby color, aroma is sweet and hoppy, caramel, very nice. The hops are noticeable first, alcohol is very well hidden. Reminds me of barley wine, overall very good.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Pours a deep amber copper color and a small white head. Aroma is great - sweet malt and fruit nut, some hops included. Taste is sweet, strong palate. Hop presence is lacking, but the malt, fruity sweetness is bigger than expected. A lot sweeter and syrupy than expected, but this lead to a bigger palate than expected.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a reddish amber color that toes the line between being transparent and cloudy. Minimal amount of white head that lingers slightly leaving a little bit of lacing around the glass.
Not getting too much on the aroma - maybe just some small caramel notes but nothing else really stands out. Aroma is OK but not the strong suit of this beer... flavor on the other hand.... DELICIOUS!
There’s a lot going on here but no single flavor overpowers the others too much - if I had to pick one I’d say that maybe the malty aspects shine through the most, but overall it is very well balanced and tends towards the sweet/boozy side of things.
The well balanced theme continues on the palate - not too sticky, not too thick, and nicely carbonated.
Already looking forward to drinking more of this one...
