COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We brewed this especially bitter ale in dedication to all the world’s would-be astronauts, in remembrance of the 2005 St. Patrick’s Day Massacre on the Brewery Party Grounds and also in joyous celebration of our 20-day suspension that following January. Do the crime. Do the time. Get the bragging rights. Cheers!

Drank from bottle. Nose is citrus, hops, and resin. Taste has a heavy orange presence a little sweet on the tongue with a dry and mildly bitter finish that doesn’t linger. Amazing beer

Tasting size portion at a local beer tasting event. 12 ounce bottle served in a plastic cup. Dark ruby brow with a thick creamy head. Lots of fruity and floral aromas. Sweet malt flavors with some brown sugar. Bit hoppy in the finish with some grapefruit flavors. Medium bodied, good carbonation levels. Nice, smooth and well balanced for a big beer. I was surprised to see its ABV is 9.7%, as this went down too easily. Definitely would look for it again.

This is awesome. Malt character is glory slightly outshining hops. There is a good bit of resin in the direction of juniper adding significant complexity.

American Beer Classic. Pours a very clear copper/brown with half a finger of creamy white head that dissipates quick. Decent lacing. Aroma very hoppy and sweet. Citrus Roasted malts, spice and caramel. Mouth is very hoppy and citrusy with a hint of caramel. Perfect bitter taste. An interesting nutty undertone.

Sweet and thick, fruit punch perhaps? A very strong beer, but not too syrupy considering what we are dealing with.

Hop bomb explosion- old ale or not! Caramel malt backed up by hops approaching a barley wine. Very good.

12oz bottle from The Beer Store Wilson. Light amber hue, murky clarity with mostly lasting fizzy off-white head. Good lacing. Strong citrus, floral, booze, light fruit aromas. Heavy bitter citrus and floral tastes up front with a heavy booze and citrus finish. Watery texture on the palate with a light-medium body. Solid beer.

12 oz. bottle poured into tulip glass. Appearance is a amber-copper color with about one finger of off-white head which leaves a bit of lacing as it dissipates. Aroma is very flowery with pine and a sweet citrus scent, like grapefruit juice. The taste follows the nose. For a strong ale, this is a pretty light taste and feel. There’s no discernible alcohol taste to it. One of the best beers I’ve tried.

12 oz. bottle. Pours lightly brown amber with a thin but lasting head that is considerably lacy. The aroma is fairly hoppy with resin and pine notes but also has a sweet fruity aspect that makes it quite different from the typical hoppy American strong ale. The taste is very sweet upfront like a big barley wine and traditions into a fairly bitter finish.
