3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Aroma: This beer smells amazing. Pine and caramel with floral undertones in the nose.
Appearance: Reddish with a beautiful head and long lasting lacing.
Taste. Up front caramel with a touch of bread backed by resin, pine and flowers. Aftertaste is really long and the alcohol is not well hidden at all. In fact it’s kind of a put off.
Palate: sticks around too ling with too much burn. Heavy alcohols
Overall: Definitely not my favorite lagunitas beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
The first few sips were delicious. American barley wine-ish with lots of caramel and hoppy flavours like citrus fruits and pine. Way too sweet aftertaste and the bitterness felt kinda chemical but as the beer got warmer the chemical flavour dissapeared and the sweetness calmed down. At the right temperature it’s almost too easy to drink.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Faint aromas of grassy hops and some baking spice. Beautiful copper color with good clarity. Taste is malt forward with brown sugar, sweet gingerbread and some buttering hops on the finish. Good stuff.

4.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 20/20
Aroma is very light citrus, resin, and caramelly toffee notes. The flavor is citrus up front, then the toffee malt kicks in followed by a slight caramel note. The abv is hidden very well. Be careful with this beer!! It’s very tasty and very potent.

Pours a dark amber with an off white head and a heavy caramel malt aroma. Bitter & lightly sweet. Full bodied light carbonation, good lacing, lightly alcoholic finish.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a medium brown, with a beige head. Aroma is malty, caramel, brown sugar, and some grapefruit. Flavor is fruity, malty, and mildly sweet. Finishes a little astringent, and hoppy, but not bad. Overall very smooth and drinkable.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Deep mahogany brown. Nose is hot booze, toffee, and tobacco. Flavor follows, nice round palate, and bitter hop finish. A bit on the sweet side to be a real but still a great affordable brew.
