COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We brewed this especially bitter ale in dedication to all the world’s would-be astronauts, in remembrance of the 2005 St. Patrick’s Day Massacre on the Brewery Party Grounds and also in joyous celebration of our 20-day suspension that following January. Do the crime. Do the time. Get the bragging rights. Cheers!

Red copper ale with a thick light moka head, lacing. Nice herbal c-hops in aroma, with good chunky malt in mouth, welll balanced with floral hops, very grapefruity, and a good dose of candy sugar. Rich bodied, with hops and malt covering the mouth. Bottle from Party Source, Syracuse, August 2006.

Bottle... Beautiful, toasted amber ale with a small, creamy, off-white head. Terrific retention. The earthy, malty aroma supplies heaps of caramel, tons of pink grapefruit and a touch of damp leather. Tastes like bitter grapefruit rind blended with caramel, Novocain and ethanol. Full-bodied and creamy with moderate carbonation. Lightly bitter, extremely astringent finish. Not a whole lot of subtlety here. Kudos to growler for splitting the bottle with me!

Amber pour, off white head. Caramel malt, spicy hops, and citrus make up the nose. Flavor is an odd malt taste with some muted hops. Something doesn’t sit right with this beer. It is almost really good then almost not so good. Enigma.
