3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This is the future of beer. At least for people like me who need things that grab you by the neck and wrestle you to the ground and make you cry uncle. The future of beer includes a mass funeral for the generic "IPA"s that every brewery feels obliged to half-heartedly cook up so that guys in polo shirts or shirts with slogans on them might find adventurous, but are still cheap swill. The future of beer includes this one, and that’s why my fridge is filled with anything I can get my hands on that is massive in terms of malt, hops, yeast, fruit, alcohol - - and especially all-of-the-above. That’s why my fridge will include this one, till it gets crowded out by things more apocalyptic.
