3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
had this several times, but just now got around to rating it. Pours an amber color with a frothy head. not bad. smells hoppy, but what lagunita’s beers don’t? with an abv over 9%, you can taste it. it is subtle, but you can tell it is stiff. I would say this one is a borderline Imperial amber, but with 9%.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Looks really nice. Clear caramel color with a fine off white head. Solid lacing. Damned fine hoppy aroma with a solid caramel malty back. Solid body on this one. Fine balance between bitterness and sweetness, and a fine carbonation. Fruity, hoppy and deep malty flavor. A really lovely and tasty ale.

Tap from Bishop Arms in Helsingborg. Smells is complex of wheat, bread, malts and caramel. Pours dark amber with a small white head. Taste is strong and equally complex and has tones of hazelnuts and some dried fruits. The palate is full and rich, a nice feeling. Overall another nice beer from Lagunitas.
