COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In 1971, the Waldos met one afteroon at 4:20 in the front courtyard of their school near the statue of Louis Pasteur. They set out in a ’66 Impala armed with a "treasure map" on a journey to find a secret garden near Point Reyes. They met there at the same time every day and continued their quest. They never found the secret garden....But they keep lookin’. The dankest and hoppiest beer ever brewed at Lagunitas was made with help of the Waldos for all treasure hunters.

Daffodil aroma. Crystal clear amber, thick head, nice lacing. Orange, lilies, aspirin. Intense. Grapefruit finish. Medium body, resinous and extremely bitter, soft carbonation. Tasty and more drinkable than other similar hyper-hopped resin bombs.

Pours golden amber with a white head that quickly dissipated. Aroma is resin, pine and earthy. Taste is moderate bitters with some sweetness. Medium bodied, smooth, good carbonation and overall a dank brew.

Draft at Fishale. Clear gold color with a big foamy white head. The aroma is dank, earthy, skunky hops. Huge flavor of pine resin and simple syrup. Just a light hint of booze which is surprising given the ABV. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle, thanks brenn79. Aroma is onion/garlic, cotton candy, sex/vag/ballsack/butthole. Pours clear golden with a decent bone-white head. Taste is highly bitter and alcoholic with strong flavors of dank oniony/garlicky hops and even some licorice, weird for such a light colored beer. Not a big fan of oniony/garlicky hoppy beers, so this isn’t really for me, but I can see how one who is a fan of those types of beers could appreciate it.

Bottle sent for review. The rocky head that sticks around for a while offers a clue that it has hidden powers. The orangey body is right for an English style IPA. But there is a definite smell from where I’m sitting and just typing, of a bit of citrus, and some English hop earthiness. The taste is quite full of orange juice, pine, and hints of other herbs. No, I can be pretty certain there’s nothing in here that would not be in a legal bottle of beer, this company has had enough trouble with that. But there is a definite attempt to create a compliment to a session with herb, with strong tastes to overpower any other flavors that might need to be pushed out of the back of the palate. Every point of its alcohol is being felt here. And this very definitely needs to be experienced fresh, because this is a flavor combination that may fade out very quickly.

[8165-20160429] Bottle. Sweaty pine resin and roasted orange peel hops aroma. Clear, golden orange body with a quick foamy off-white head. Fruity orange peel citrus bite flavour has a sweet fruity finish and a bitter evergreen sap aftertaste. Medium body is quite bitter. Good, tasty. (8/4-/8/4/16) 4.0

12 oz bottle- Pours lightly hazy orange with a medium sized white head that holds nicely. Aroma is sweet, citrusy, resinous. The taste is very resinous, dank, pine, sappy, citrus, medium high level bitterness that lingers. Good beer.

Tap. The look is clear, thin beige head, bronze in color. The smell is fruit roll ups, super mango, almost tart but not really, good stuff. The taste is richer, darker, thicker, alcohol, and pine.

On tap at the Stoneyard with Patty after golf. Color is a cloudy orange amber with one-finger white head. Aroma is hop, spice, melon, malt, grass and soap. Taste is....well it isn’t strong. It is dank with resin, hoppy but not bitter, sweet but not cloying. Raw malt and earth only helps the balance. Very tasty.
