4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On 4/20 at Harry’s Hofbrau for $4.20 per pint. Massive, massive, massive citrus, dank funk and earth aroma. Beautiful. Pours a slightly haze orange with a full white head. Flavor is pronounced citrus and earth, with lots of fresh cut grass. Strong bitterness, but not overpoweringly so like with many DIPAs. Excellent, dude.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap at Rays. 2015 version. Unfiltered orange-gold body. Foamy off-white head. Deep grapefruit marmalade hop aroma. Their description nails it: Herbacious, botanical, resinous. Even though this is at IIIPA levels(13%?), it drinks like a IIPA. Pretty intense still, lots of hops, deep malts, pinch of heat. There is some juicy guava, but surrounded by rich resinous tones. Heavy golden malt/medium-light malts. Pretty legit, especially for $5.00 a pint.

Citrus bomb gets dropped on you with this one. Really hoppy and citrus notes. Nice hoppy bitter finish. Had a draft pour at grafton. Pours orange with a white sticky head

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Champps. Orange pour, very clear light head with some lace. Nose is bitter and fruity tropical. Taste is very citrusy, sweet tropical fruits, pine and resin. Medium bodied, lightly sticky, with little alcohol. Finishes well balanced between bitter and sweet, leaning fruity bitter. Very hop forward and mosaic-y. Nice one! 15.4

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Quite the large beer. Pours a clear light amber. The aroma is complex with a big sweet start of caramel and bread. The hops come in with a big hit of citrus and pine. The flavor is sweet at first then gets bitter with a bit of a bite. Long lasting finish.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
4oz on tap at Brass Tap - U Square. Big piney, resiny hop, kind of herbal, lasts long into the finish, with sort of a bite at the end. Big malt too, big caramel and biscuit. Bigger sweet taste, moderate bitter, some alcohol warmth. Clear amber color. Thin off-white head. Some loose bits of lace. Bigger body. Kind of slick texture. Smooth, kind of soft lighter carbonation. An alright DIPA at the moment. Past it’s prime. Gotta be at least 2 months old now, right? Was probably a lot better when fresh. Drinking less like a DIPA and more like an pale american strong ale, basically. Either that, or my 4oz was sitting in the line for too long ...

Draft. Super super danky nose. Lots of diesel. Light copper color. Taste is initially bitter followed by a punch of pine resin and onion. Really dang good. Nice and dry and not a malt bomb.

Tap at Hooligans. Pours a dark copper to orange color with slight rosy highlights. Tall foamy head. Aroma is lots of pine, sap, resin and loads of hops. Wow very aromatic! Flavor is lots of hops, slightly sweet but loads of bitter hops. Pine, slight resin and sap. Finishes very dry. Certainly dank.
