UPDATED: AUG 28, 2013 Had it on tap at Chs. Beer Works- they ran out of Coast HopArt and replaced tap with this. Really good- malty, hoppy and really well balanced. Good head with staying power. Perfect IPA color that makes your mouth water. Not as spectacular or memorable as the HopStoopid, but would defintely look for it again. had on tap again labor day weekend 2013 at mezzaluna in h’ville. in honour of jennifer’s first trip to west coast. better than I remember- kind of perfectly sweet, malty, hoppy all in one taste. server brought a sample of st. teresa’s pale....not even a fair comparison. lagunitas a solid ipa. one of my favorites for overall balance and drinkability.

On tap: crystal clear golden pour with small lasting head leaving ample lacing. Nice citrus and resign hop in the aroma. Good balanced taste with lots of hop flavor and bitterness in the finish.

Light color, pleasant hoppy aroma. A strong but balanced hop flavor, very refreshing and tasty. Definitely a good session IPA, had a few of these on tap.

On tap at Lagunitas poured a clear golden amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of biscuit, orange, tropical fruit, earthiness, grapefruit and light pine. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, orange, pink grapefruit, tropical fruit and light pine with a smooth dry lingering bitter fruity finish.

Clear pretty golden orange with no head. On cask. Good strong grapefruit pineapple pine and spruce aroma and taste with adirty cereal grain flavor dominating up front and a caramel and pineapple finish. Interesting.

This IPA is a nice golden amber color with a short lacy head. The aroma is a fresh and sweet bread. The taste comes across slightly bitter with a maltiness about it. The bitterness expands as the beer warms. This beer is medium bodied and goes down smooth.

Pours a medium gold with a medium white head. Aromas of grapefruit, pine and malt. Flavors of pine and citrus hops with a nice malty backbone. This isn’t really anything spectacular, but is very well put together and drinkable.

From bottle to tulip. Pours a medium clear amber with moderate white head. lacing lingers throughout. Aroma is not as strong as some IPAs - taste is a bit different also - can definitely feel some orange/tangerine in there. Not in a bad way - seems to have more of a malt feel on the nose and taste - a bit of caramel malt. The best thing about this brew is it is very well balanced - good mouthfeel with nice finish - not too dry and not lingering on and on. Well made and very sessionable. Enjoyable and would purchase again
