4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: OCT 6, 2015 Bottle from Epsom Circle Market, Epsom NH. Aroma is herbs and citrus. Appearance is hazy yellow orange with good sparkling and thin, creamy, white head with good retention and moderate lacing. Taste is herb/pine bitter with a surprising sweet balance. Palate is medium to full bodied, with a creamy texture and perfect carbonation. Finish is wet and moderately long. Great mouth feel. Overall, I was expecting to be disappointed by this; I expected to be blown away by an overly hoppy beer. I was pleasantly surprised. There is nice subtlety here and an absolutely fantastic palate. A favorite IPA (from a non-IPA guy).

3.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pale straw in appearance, light body, strong citrus aroma with floral hints. Only a slight trace of head from a strong pour, bitterness all the way through.
Overall, a light bodied IPA that was good, but blends into the highly competitive style of IPAs.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Eatery, Manhattan, NY.
Very pale amber, almost gold, unexpectedly crystal clear, thin white head. Hoppy nose.
Aroma focuses on hops with citrus and orange. Thin caramel malts profile. Taste is straight bitter, quite intense in the finish, body is light, average carbonation. Extra dry.
This is lacking the fruity and ’raw’ yeasty weapping i love in IPAs, seems a poweful APA. But it does taste nice, solid, clean dry hoppy one..

Taster at Lagunitas. Pours clear golden amber with a pale yellow head. Aroma is classic citrus, pine resin, and lively hops. Flavour is more subdued than most california IPA's. I prefer more kick but this is an easy drinking accessible beer.

[Tap] Pours a deep yellow color with a foamy head. Aromas of pine, citrus and grapefruit. Similar flavors, with a potent bitterness that is mainly centered on grapefruit and floral notes. Soapy lacing on the glass. Crisp, balanced and very drinkable.

Fra fat på Landströms Kök & Bar, Kiruna 12 Des 14. Gyldenbrun med et høyt luftig skum som varer en stund. Veldig god fruktaroma. Mest fersken. Smaken det samme med tilføyelse av plommer. Svakt syrlig avslutning.

Just had this on tap for the first time. Locally in Sonoma. Th nose really lets you know what to expect. And the hops are what it’s all about. Fresh pine almost to a mint. A very bright flavor - a bit overpowering is the only criticism. It finshes with a great flavor and goes well with strong (spicy or high flavor) foods.
