22 ounce bottle. The aroma is filled with caramel and toffee notes, fruity hops as well. The flavor is more fruity then the aroma, however the balance is still towards the malts. Lots of toffee, caramel, toasted malts. A descent beer, but nothing exciting.

22oz bottle from Met Grocery split w Erica while watching Ken Burns’ Civil War on DVD. Lol. Great look to it: dark brown/purple with a deep ruby hue that radiates throughout the entire body when held at certain angles. Pretty heavy, messy lacing on the glass. Aroma of heavy malts, sweet caramel, a little bitterness, and resinous dark fruit. Really complex. Palate is equally complex with dried red fruit, caramel malt, sticky resin, some nuts, some earthiness, and hops. Really, really rich and delicious. More like an American strong ale than a brown to me. Does not linger.

WTF!? Very tasty beer that I was quite surprised by. This beer opened with a variety of aromas and tastes, but not over bearing or too strong to bring that "WTF am I drinking" thought.

Bomber. A hoppy brown ale.....nice. Something different for me. Like it a lot. Another cool name too from one of my favorite breweries.

22 fl. oz bottle kindly shared from OleR private cellar. Deep red body with a rather small off-white head. Nice and strong aroma of malt, caramel, nuts and dry fruit. Flavor is caramel malty, fruity, soft chocolate malt and nice balanced bitterness. Fine body, god aftertaste. A really nice, strong brown ale. Thanx mate!

22 fl. oz bottle, brought home from Kihoskh, København. A clear, deep amber colored beer with a firm offwhite foamy head. Massive aroma of caremelized malts. Nutty and biscuity tones, too. A bold fruity and resinous hop arma is there to back up. Taste has a rich caramelly malt-sweetness, properly balanced by a bold fruity hop bitterness. More nutty tones, and hint of flowery and peacy flavoring hops. Medium full. Smooth in the mouth. Dries up a bit towards a balanced, light malty-bitter finish. Good, indeed.
