It is dark brown with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, brown sugar and hints of nuts. The flavour has sweetness and notes of roasted malt, caramel, brown sugar and again a hint of nuts. It is a nice and full-bodied bock.

0.5L bottle, BB 8/24/08. Poured deep, coppery orange with a surprisingly well-retained cap of beige head.. looked quite nice! The aroma was chock full of sweet caramel with earthy accents and some toffee.. man, this was like candy and I loved it! The flavor was sweet again with sugared-up, sticky caramel, leafy bitterness, and some earth.. a touch warm on the back with some residual bitternes.. tasty. Medium-bodied and again sweet on the palate.. nicely toasted too.. very good stuff.

(bottle) Clear, dark brown colour with an eggshell-coloured foamy head of medium size. Sweet and slightly toasted malt aroma with hints of metallic hops. Sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation. Robust malty base, slightly toasted with light notes of caramel and molasses; sweet malty finish without any balancing bitterness, although the alcohol is fairly well integrated. Mediocre Bock (16.05.07).
