COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

50 cL bottle. Pours cloudy and brown with a dense light tan head. Mild caramel and alcohol aroma. Sweet and breadish malt flavoured with a nice roasted note coming through into a nice roasted and slight fruity finish. Light acidic touch. Nice one.

(Bottle 50 cl) 7,5% ABV in my version. A snow-bock, well, it had to come sooner or later. But it’s certainly far from watery. Dark amber colour. Lovely caramel flavours with a wee metallic edge. In spite of being overly potent with some sweetness this brew is surprisingly light and in no way cloying. Rather wellmade (Doppel)bock. 250802

Bottled@One Pint Pub, Helsinki. Deep amber colour, not that much head. Aroma is caramel, some skunkyness, mild earth and yeast. Flavour is quite much the same. Did have some metallic notes when cold, but those disappeared when it warmed up a bit.

Bottle from a Frankfurt airport duty free shop. Pours dark copper with a creamy beige/tan head. Aroma is malty with a little spicy hop. Med body. It’s starting like a cola flavor - develops a slight hint of chocolate, and some bitter herb. It’s malty, but not sweet. Finishes towards dry and bitter for me. Tasty!

It is dark brown with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, brown sugar and hints of nuts. The flavour has sweetness and notes of roasted malt, caramel, brown sugar and again a hint of nuts. It is a nice and full-bodied bock.
